As always the service and food was wonderful and lived up to my expectations! I have been going to this establishment through all of its manifestations and changes of name, location and menu since sometime in 1975 or before, and I am never disappointed no matter how long my absence. It is so nice to have a local place to go that you don’t have to worry about the quality or consistency of food and service - although COVID finally took away the last Smokehouse items on the menu. I still miss those! Thank you Danny and family and crew for staying true and being there for a long time customer. You are appreciated ?
Been in the Waco for almost a year and to date the best BBQ. The white Cole slaw is amazing. BBQ sauce is hardy with favor. Sweet tea to match your Texas taste.
we ordered brisket/pulled pork and the works for 30 people for our grandchild's graduation party. The meat was so incredible and tender. The service was impeccable. There was enough food for 40. I was so impressed with the quality of the food. will use this place again for sure. And the price was unbeatable
First time here and I really enjoyed it. I will say that the meat portions could be more for the price but I was very pleased with the taste. The only thing I would not recommend is the turkey, it reminded me more of a deli style turkey. The brisket was great, and if you haven’t tried the white potato salad, omg it was so good. The portions for sides are well worth it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the place was clean and tidy. It wasn’t busy at all but I didn’t mind. Overall I would recommend this place as a very good bbq option. I would have given 5 stars if there was more meat portions.
We're from Louisiana visiting and wanted some authentic regional barbecue. The portion side of meat doesn't match the cost of the dinner. The turkey was okay, but nothing was great. It was okay. I wouldn't buy it again.
Uncle Dans catered our Baylor graduation party at Cameron park for 22 people. I live out of state and they made it easy to plan and handled all the logistics. There was plenty of food for everyone and Uncle Dans cared for every detail. Delivery was on-time and set up efficiently. The food was excellent!!! The event was a success thanks to Uncle Dans. I highly recommend!
It's a typical barbecue fare but in a brighter cafeteria environment. Service is cheerful and attentive. The meat is good, but I particularly recommend the mustard potato salad.
I had a sliced brisket sandwich with bbq sauce on the side. My husband had a plate dinner. Sliced brisket, potato salad and pinto beans. He ranted & raved about how good it was. ?
we came here before a baylor game a few months ago and really loved the homemade potato salad and brisket. sausage was great too - love both locations and have been to both since
Best ribs ever! My husband says excellent!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I just got out of the hospital and we decided to go here. First time customers. Service was great, restaurant was clean and food delicious. We are in and decided to buy some to go. I would recommend o it to any one. We will go back. ❤️
