60% of seating was available, not a busy time. I always stop at this Waco location when I drive on 35. There was not one clean table, I cleaned one myself. Bathrooms had no soap, how do the employees was there hands? The trash cans were overfilled, what do the employees do here? 6/20/22 around 2pm.
Really pretty terrible customer service served with a side of flies. Shame because the queso is good. Hopefully management will continue to work with their employees on what customer service looks like. Good luck, you have a steep learning curve ahead here.**Edited to raise to a 3 because management stepped up to resolve the issues and in this day and age this needs to be recognized and praised**
Food was great! However, they need work on cleanliness. When I went, it was very messy. Half eaten food, plates & what not left on tables even long after we showed up & left. The trash can was over full with trash spilling out from the top which flies were loving lol I was about to clean for them because I've worked in restaurants before! I know like many food places, they're probably short staffed but to leave trash & tables unclean/untouched just looks like they don't care.
Tacos were so delish and the queso and chips AMAZING! The staff were so nice and friendly. Sit inside or outside, can't go wrong with this delightful taco joint.
Good tacos. Nice outdoor seating. Nothing to write home about. Service is friendly. Nice casual place for a quick bite in Waco.
Great food and drinks with an welcoming atmosphere. The Bartender Christina was amazing. Looking forward to my next visit.
We picked up 6 breakfast Tacos ? to go. Got home and only 5 in the bag??♀️. 2+2+2=6??♀️. NOT 5! Would cost us $5 or more in gas since we don’t live close to go back for the left off Taco we were charged for.
Go figure. Promoted as having one of the best outdoor eating areas in Waco and not dog friendly. We love Torchy's but had to pass on this one as we were traveling with our therapy dog and our service dog. There was a sign that no dogs were allowed so even though the service dog could have entered the other could not and we moved on.
Yes, order a Trailerpark "Trashy". It's delicious! This little taco joint was some good, greasy eats for me and my hungry family. We ordered tacos, the kids got quesadillas, everybody was happy. I would do it all over again.
We were traveling with our therapy dog. We love Torchy's and looking at recommendations on line, the outdoor area was rated as one of the best in Waco. There was a sign out front that said no dogs were allowed in the outdoor area. What? Really? A Torchy's that does not embrace dogs? They are welcome in other Torchy's locations that we have visited. We left on our travels hungry and disappointed. Beware if traveling with the family dog!
