We attended the Grand Opening at the Brazos location: Parking was tight and we had to park in a grass lot adjacent to the main parking. Pizza ordering and wait was fast and easy. Then had to walk over to the bar area to order beer. The outside deck was absolutely amazing! We didn’t like that there was no table wait staff except to bus the table. We continue to have to make a trip back to the bar to order beer ourselves. All in all it was a good experience and we will be back. I would highly recommend buckets of bottle beer for the deck area!

The food is decent but not worth the hassle if placing an order to pick up. Even though they advertise curbside, no one wants to actually provide that service. Everyone acts like it is such an inconvenience when you call.

We went to Slow Rise Slice house on a date Wednesday evening of the 6th of October-thinking we would have a great pizza. Well that WAS NOT THE CASE. The people were friendly however when the pizza came out it was way over cooked hard as a rock - the server that brought the pizza was like “ sorry it got “stuck” in the oven - it was BURNT TO A CRISP- horrible pizza - I requested to talk to a manager and wouldn’t you know it - they just left like 3 minutes ago - they said they would refund us $20 - well haven’t seen that yet…… horrible experience horrible pizza- I would not recommend this place to friends - they don’t seem to care about when they screw up - good luck hope better than ours was… we will not be going back!

Great food and great service! My son and I are always looking for new pizza places that are outside of the normal chain ones. This establishment did not disappoint! The atmosphere when you walk in feels so cozy and neighborhood-like. You smell Common Grounds Coffee as soon as you walk in which to me is a bonus because I love coffee! Ordering was easy; the SMALL Greek salad was huge, and so fresh it was amazing. My son had the meatballs as an app and he was very pleased. The 20” pepperoni pizza was delicious and we ended up leaving with half of it; the dough has a sort of sweetness to it....so perfect. We will be back! Thank you Slow Rise Slicehouse!
I had a slice of the Margherita Pizza, so delicious!! Very.nice flavor, not to saucy, just right, .Soo good. The staff was so.super nice and I loved the relaxed vibe in the place.
