I just had the coconut cream pie and the chocolate cream pie both were thick and gritty as if the filling was thicken with flour and the taste was not there. Not very good!!
The place is the best!!!!!!! Im definitely coming back again!!! And all these reviews of prices being high go to McDonald’s or BK and get chicken nuggets to eat! Price is fair. They have the food prepared for you and also to easy cook/heat up! 10/10
We were on a tight budget and needed to cater a meal for over 50 people. After checking around, we chose Secret Chef because they offered the best deal for the money. I would use them again because the food was excellent, when I asked for extras, like tea and ice, he provided it without raising the cost. The meal was delivered on time, hot, and way more food than we needed. I know a caterer will typical bring an extra 10% because running out of food is a big black mark, but he made extra sure we were not going to run out! Very, very happy with our experience and highly recommend him if you are looking for someone great to work with, great price, and great food!

Just left there. Wanted something sweet. Purchased 4 brownies that looked really good and 2 cookies. Got home and tried the cookies. Both were old and hard so I threw them away. Tried the brownies and another blow. They were a bit soft in the middle but the majority of it was hard and old and I had to throw them away. Should've just gone with the pudding. It's pretty good and,"FRESH". Major disappointment

Aaah, King Ranch Chicken. Wow. Sounded so wonderful, if I'dve wanted a cheap burrito I'dve ordered from a Mexican place, but ohhh, King Ranch chicken. How could I resist. I was so excited. The worst meal I have ever had in Waco. Worst. THIS is not King Ranch chicken, it's a horizontal cheap, and quite nasty burrito. I ordered it on Grubhub and it was NOT CHEAP. It consisted of tortillas just thrown in there, not even ever warmed and a mystery sauce and chunks unknown in a gravy not a sauce. An occasional piece of chicken. I don't see how they can call themselves a restaurant. The salad was from HEB stuffed into a container. The roll, which is 75cents extra making you think it's homemade, isn't, it's just a squashed bun for extra money. DO not order from these people, this was bad. I can't even give them anything over one star, just the WORST. Nasty food. EXPENSIVE and believe me, terrible. Wanna waste $35 go order their King Ranch Chicken. Ick.
This place has really good food. If you work a lot and don't feel like cooking or if you just don't feel like cooking and want a good homemade cooked meal, this is the place to buy that meal. They have a variety of meals to choose from. They have healthy meals as well. The portion size are really good for the price of the meal. The last two trips I made there I bought 3 meals each time to heat up for a couple of days. I bought the Penne w/chicken and veggies, chicken spaghetti and green beans, and my favorite, the grilled chicken, rice pilaf and broccoli. Go on over to buy one of their meals, you won't be disappointed.
