We used to go here quite a bit! We always order the nachos which were served on a pizza pie pan. We went in after a long absence last night. Ordered our favorite. Not only did they raise the price and I DO understand food cost.But they cut the portion.So here's my message to the DOG raise the price,, retain the portions cuz! that's why we come here.I DONT REJECT PRICEI REJECT CUTTING PORTIONS & RAISING $The inference is raise the price to whatever you have to be to be profitable. But you cannot do both. People will pay the price for the proper serving portion! Your establishment there's a fine example build-it-and-they-will-come
Went to this establishment for the good reviews it had. Saw on the website it had wheelchair accessibility’s. But come to find out we can’t even get in the door:( because it’s too high up for the wheelchair.
Had a taste for a good burger. Salty Dog is one of my “go-to” place to scratch my itch when such a burger craving hits. Somehow, my son talked me into trying something different, and the “Homewrecker” was my choice. Kinda threw me off when it arrived in a stainless steel dog bowl, but it was really kinda cool. I took one bite and I was hooked! It tasted way better than it even looked. There was a huge serving in that bowl. I couldn’t even finish it and left feeling fat as a tick. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her burger, which was no suprise, and their fried squash was as wonderful as always. The only detractions I would have was that they seemed understaffed and the poor waitress had her hands full keeping up; but she did. Definitely a once to twice a month stop-in for my “crew”.
Had to wait 38 minutes for a adult beverage. Food was served n a dog bowl. ?? Not very appetizing. Grease needs to be chgd out. Nasty fries n tots.Hair in toppings for burger;Lettuce, tomatoes for avocado sour.Will not return.Our server was great kept apologizing for the food The sour faced b/tender behind the bar needs to get another job.
Good food and beverages at reasonable prices. Great service and very friendly staff. Fun place.

My coworker got the Dog Bowl “not so kfc” - what an epic plating! I got the prime rib sandwich. Food was fantastic and staff was amazing! We’re from Wisconsin—this place is a winner!

First time there. Told Mom I was taking her out to supper for her birthday. A friend of hers told her about the Salty Dog and she asked if we could go there. Wierdest thing ever...walking into a bar with my Mom lol. We got there around 7pm on a Tuesday.Atmosphere was great. It wasn't crowded but there were several tables there. Music was fantastic.
