Excellent burger and Brussels sprouts!! My drink (smoky paloma) was flavorful, not too sweet, and had a good amount of alcohol. The pastor tacos were very disappointing though. I would probably come here again but it wasn't as amazing as people said in my opinion.
Live in Waco . Finally came to try Milo at 4:00 on Saturday. In the summer. Guess what - they close from 3:00-5:00. Big disappointment. To be closed on a summer weekend in the city that is the number 1 tourist destination in Texas???
Very busy because it's one of the few places open on Sunday. But I do not recommend, The were not meat alternatives offered, and they simply did not have any fruit (I requested a side of fruit instead of meat). They were "out of waffles" so we had limited options for our meal. The food was bland and there was literally grease dripping off the bacon. The food was overpriced for the area and what was received.
Lack of hospitality upon entering. All staff seemed unhappy, and the menu was quite limited. We didn’t make a reservation, but there were SEVERAL open tables we waited for an hour. We were the only ones waiting. Food was alright but not worth that kind of a wait.
Fantastic food. The decor was light, fresh, and so creative. Service was great! We enjoyed each of our entrees and the coffee was delicious. We will definitely return!
I always go more than 3 times to a place before to write a review in order to be precise in terms of consistency of taste and service. The place is clean, roomy with great furniture to enjoy your food. The food and drink is not expensive, it only has the right price, for the quality of the ingredients.Talking about the time you have to wait, normally is around 40 minutes, depending on the number of people who come with you.The food have a delicious flavor.
Was here for brunch on a Sunday morning. Would highly suggest to reserve your seats well in advance as this place is always busy. I was here for just a weekend and was lucky to get an outdoor seat. We ordered a couple drinks and food. The food especially the farmer’s one was my favorite. The tater tot hash are average at best. The drinks here are what made the experience a little less than it could’ve been. The drinks are very basic and sweet. Very unique names though.
So we travel from Houston to Waco for the weekend. It was Easter Day and we were looking for a nice place to have brunch with my family. So on my Google recommendations Milo popped out. We went in they told us that we needed reservation, and we wait 45 minutes to get seated. fast forward we got seated and we waited like around 15 minutes to a waitress attend us! OK we order and we do not eat pork we ask for substitutions and they couldn’t make them. Also for the price we pay food ( over $100)wasn’t that great! The waitress didn’t ask if we want more coffee or water. The place is really nice really Instagram worthy. But the food for the price, I was expecting something better.
They have a Beautiful decoration, with high ceilings and fresh colors and a lot of live vibrant plants.Staff is super friendly , as we got our table, we received a glass of fresh water. Because, this was our first time, our waiter kindly give us a clear explanation about the restaurant and the dishes, basically all ingredients are fresh and dishes are scratch made.We came here for dinner . As an appetizer we had the roasted brussel sprouts they came with a sessame dresssing with a sweet touch in it that I really enjoyed. For dinner I had the MAD burger, the bun was floofy with sessame on top, I liked the touch of chimichurri alioli in the bun, that made this burger different. My husband had a salad and added chicken to it.They have a good variety of cocktails and beverages. But we ordered just draft beer from the local breweries the Brotherwell and the 0Balcones distilling. Both of them were refreshing.
Fantastic dining experience in Waco. Local feel and menu along with unique location provides for a great experience. Enjoyed the Wrecking Ball (fried chicken on a biscuit with cheddar, bacon and bacon gravy)...YUM! Also shared the Brussel Sprouts, which provided a charred yet sweet flavor. My wife enjoyed the hot chicken tacos, waking up the taste buds to a Nashville Hot Chicken experience! Also enjoyed a selection from the bar menu, including a few TX based brews and manageable cocktail menu....Great Visit!
