We stopped in for breakfast here to literally get a taste of the Magnolia vacation. We were told that the food was very good, so we had stopped one day for breakfast. The meal was very filling as you get big portions. This is definitely highly recommended by not only this foodie, but from the locals as well. Words can't express what your taste buds will savor. Don't consider visiting ...... just DO IT!
Excellent food, customer service, and prices. The biscuits and strawberry butter were everything!!! Highly recommend!
This is a very popular restaurant due to HGTV apparently. You can count on a wait, but arriving around noon, our wait was only 40 minutes. The food (breakfast/brunch fare) was very good, choices and preparation were creative and the service was outstanding and attentive. If only all restaurants were this good! The server was very helpful with our gluten-free family members.
This was our first time and we drove 4hrs to have a day out at all the Magnolia locations. I have to say I’m willing to make this drive just to eat here again. One of the Best burger I’ve ever had, my wife fell in love with the strawberry butter and biscuits! If you haven’t been you really should.
Made a reservation and was able to be seated right away. Service was great and didn’t have to wait a long time for food. All the food was amazing with unique menu items and very reasonably priced, definitely not a tourist trap. Would 100% recommend.
The place was exceptionally clean the wait staff were excellent our waiter Alec was hilarious. Food was actually very good nobody had a bad meal the highlight was watching all the middle age women reaching for the phones for pictures. We calculated about 1 1/2 seconds from time of exiting vehicle before the first picture was taken.
I was a little disappointed after all the hipe. One of the special features were pouches for everyone to put their phones away so everyone would talk more. Great concept but it is an echo chamber and very loud, it was hard to have a conversation. The service was good, but get there before 11:30 it gets crowded quick. The food is good to ok. Hamburger were tasty and very large. Eggs Benedict was very good and the sausage was very good. But I was very disappointed in the biscuits, they were very dry and not much flavor. Could use a little salt and butter in the batter. The handmade tater tots were, let’s say not to my liking even with ketchup. The prices were ok. 3 breakfast and 2 cheeseburger plates $80. I gave it 4 stars, but would I go back? Probably not, too many other small diners with better food.
We arrived for lunch at 10:45 to get on the waiting list. We were told it’d be an hour wait but ended up only being 45 minutes. The outside of the restaurant is beautiful with lush greenery and flowers. The inside of the restaurant is just as inviting with farmhouse style rectangular tables and rod iron chandeliers. Beautiful details. Our server bent over backwards to accommodate us and allowed substitutions, even bringing us a taste of the chicken salad after we had talked about it. Friend highly recommends the chicken salad which had nice fresh chicken chunks with grapes and seasoned well but not overpowering. Server recommended chicken salad with the seasoned crackers which we fully agreed. I ordered the Gaines grass fed hamburger with bacon jam. The meat tasted so fresh and the jam added another dimension. Appetizers of lemon lavender donut holes that were light cake with just the right sweetness. Also pimento cheese with seasoned crackers. Pimento cheese was freshly made and creamy, and the crackers were a perfect pairing. Friend ordered the Cobb salad with vinaigrette dressing which is on the tangy side. Very enjoyable. Other friend ordered the eggs, grits and biscuit with strawberry butter. The cheese grits were a highlight along with the biscuits which had a nice consistency. We were heading out to shop and did not want to leave our delicious pimento cheese leftovers so our server sent us with a ziploc of ice to preserve our treasure til we could enjoy it later. All in all, I’d say we’re in love. If I’m ever in town, this restaurant will be my first stop.
Great food Great times!! Expect to wait! Worth it all!! Have Fun!!
Amazing Pancakes. We have eaten here about 5 times in the past two or three months. My mom and I can never get enough of their strawberry butter! I would like to recommend another meat option for people who can't eat pork. Maybe y'all could put turkey bacon or turkey sausage as an alternative.
