Was coerced into going to the Magnolia. I’m always in the mood for a coffee, so went with a cold brew. Absolutely no complaints here, was very tasty. But I had the chance to sample the apple cider latte and I have to admit, might be one of the best warm drinks I have ever had the pleasure of sampling. Not my scene, but I do recommend anything from the press. Come out and support your local businesses and avoid chains!
If you’re in the craft coffee industry like me, you’ll appreciate the space but not the coffee so much. The people are nice, and clearly Chip & Joanna put lots of thought into making a nice and pretty space! The branding is fantastic. They have two triple grouphead quality lamarzoco machines, but the beans aren’t very good and the baristas aren’t trained to their full potential in my opinion. Still worth checking out though, the whole Magnolia block is pretty dope! If you’re in Waco and looking for more specialty coffee, hit up Dichotomy or Pinewood!
I visited the coffee shop and grabbed a coffee to go, priced accordingly with a friendly staff. Really cool atmosphere and the around the corner had a home/furniture store attached. The store featured some really nice products but the prices are as expected ^^^.
Pretty standard coffee affair but beautiful shop and very friendly/helpful staff! Lots of seating indoors and out. It was a little difficult to find the beginning of the line.
The drinks are good, but limited. The artichoke croissant was SO good. They also have sparkling water and water available for you to grab at an time.
Their cold brew was good - the right amount of acidity which perfectly complemented the cupcakes I had from their bakery. I also got their t-shirt and the material is so soft and the fit is really nice.
Stood in line for about 40 minutes in the cold just to get a cup of coffee. Could have had some food trucks or smaller coffee bars available. Wait time at the bakery was only about 15 minutes but no coffee there.
Good coffee and treats. Clean and friendly staff. Great places to sit and visit with family and friends.
Well, we were floored! Yes, it’s a tourist trap! The name, the artificial grass (lol!) But what a wonderful trap to be in. The drip coffee and specialty latte were delicious! The apple pie cinnamon roll was amazing! The icing was light and not overly sweet. The coffee cake muffin was a bit sweet. Plenty of seating, inside and out! Great stop! Sit, drink, browse, enjoy!
Had an espresso, very good. Nice place to sit and visit. If I was a student great place to do homework
