BEST breakfast! We goofed and walked to the silos from our hotel for our 8:15am reservation thinking restaurant was on property where silos are located - NOTE: Magnolia Table is not at silos!!!!! We hurried back to get our car to try to still make our reservation (we were a few minutes late). I was worried we had missed out because it was so busy and already crowded. Thankfully, the sweet hostess was very understanding and sat us at our table (I am guessing we aren’t the first visitors that didn’t know this fabulous restaurant was 6-7 minute drive from silos downtown!) anyway, service was exceptional and food was delicious! We enjoyed biscuits with strawberry butter (definitely get this), oatmeal with berries and pecans (best I have ever had) and even the coffee was the best! Everything was top notch. So glad we were able to experience this on our short visit to Waco!!!!
This was an amazing restaurant. We had reservations and were seated promptly at the reservation time. The breakfast was some of the best food I’ve ever had and I will definitely return!
Our reservation was for 8am. Only reservation I could get. You have to reserve 1 mo ahead to the day of your visit. When I arrived I was seated right away. Not to crowded. Got busy around 9am. Walk ins were seated also. Our server Blanca was very quick with service and pleasant to chat with. Drink orders taken, served in good time. Food order taken. Pimento cheese and crackers were delish. Shared with table. I ordered eggs Benedict. I thought the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly but the hollandaise sauce was too lemony for my taste. Another order was eggs, sausage, tater tots, and choice of toast. Tater tots were excellent. Prices were average. Very nice place. Bathrooms clean.
This place has such a classy, one-of-a-kind feel to it. Of course everybody eats here because Chip and Jo made it awesome, but the food was flavorful and the portions were decent. The dining room had a classic diner feel, with a splash of modern farmhouse flair. The attention to detail was impressive. The place settings, the tables, even the condiments were all executed with such intentionality. The original penny tile flooring was really cool. Fun place with good food.
Delicious experience! We were told it was a 35 minute wait but really only 15 minutes on a Weds morning around 9:30. It would have been worth a longer wait though. The strawberry butter with the biscuits - very yummy! We all very much enjoyed our meals from French toast, peppered bacon - crispy, tater tots, lemon lavender donut holes. There can’t be anything bad on the menu. Great prices, too.
OMg. I’m sure I don’t have to add another wonderful review but I’m going to anyway! The service is spectacular! The food is unbelievably delicious. We’ve had a group of 5 for breakfast. We got there about 8:30 am on Saturday and had a one hour wait. Three of us had the eggs Benedict. I highly recommend it! Her biscuit recipe is to die for! Jesus was our waiter and was so patient and accommodating! 5 stars for sure!
Beautiful restaurant and delicious food! I recommend going early for breakfast or brunch because the wait increases throughout the day. Definitely worth it though! My husband said it was the best burger he had every had and the chicken salad sandwich was amazing!
So your wife or girlfriend made you come right? Yes I was dragged here too my friends. But there is hope, order the biscuits with the strawberry butter. They come 4 to an order and the rule you need to establish is that you get 3 of them. The first bite of the biscuit and I thought I was in a musical and was going to break into song, it was that magical. I had the burger with the pimento cheese and it was good. My wife like her blueberry pancakes.
Our party of three arrived at 10:30 AM, signed - in and informed by the hostess there is a 42 minute wait which we were expecting so it was fine. We pasted the time by checking out the" Take Away" shop, purchased a cookbook and a few treats for the road. Went back to the hostess to inquire about our table and informed there was an "additional 53 minute wait!" We left very disappointed as we are from out of state and made this a " special stop" with our granddaughter currently in the service.
Worth it for the experience. Food was tasty but nothing outstanding. The wait for 2 people was 1 hr + though you can buy coffee and snacks while waiting.
