Horrible. Experience. But I guess I should have known. No lids for anything that was handed to me. My banana splits melted before I even got home. strawberry shortcake was dry and no flavor. The splits came with pineapple after I specifically said I wanted one with out . Just all around don’t know if I’ll ever go back. Not worth the $45 I spent. I was so hopeful of this place.
Best frozen custard ever! Plenty of extras and add-ons to customize your treats, but just plain vanilla is even good all by itself. Hot dogs and frito pie available as well as take home containers.

Delicious frozen custard! I read in one of the other reviews that the custard starts melting as soon as you get it, but c'mon, it's in the 100's outside! The same thing happened to us at Heritage Creamery next to the university, so I believe it has more to do with that.Anyways, my custard was the salted caramel pretzel variety and we had a couple of beef hot dogs. If you're in a hurry, the drive thru is your best bet as ordering and "dining in" means sitting outside, which is what we did but we're gluttons for punishment. I think there is only one restroom and it was locked, not sure if someone was in there or it was out of order. Still, you can't beat the taste of Katie's. ?
Delicious. Always get the cyclone of the month. And the cherry cheesecake cyclone was so so good. Thick custard!
I spent a lot of money just to get melted ice cream and didn’t receive any tops so the ice cream leaked out the container as I drove home. Everyone doesn’t eat and drive.
Had the Strawberry Shortcake and was not disappointed! Fluffy soft shortcake bits cut up nicely with juicy strawberries in natural strawberry syrup. Didn't taste like the highly processed strawberry you get sometimes at other places.
Huge servings and super delicious. Even with a long line and ordering at the window the line moves pretty fast. My favorite ice cream place by far.
Phenomenal! This is a classic Waco spot to hit up when you're in town. Their take on a "dirt and worms" literally changed my life, to the point where I am currently salivating thinking of it and will likely be dreaming of it tonight.
I’ve been going here since I was a kid and it really is the best frozen custard out there. The old fashioned banana split is my favorite. I have to stop here every time I visit waco.
