Delicious ice cream made with local ingredients in a historic feeling building (probably the original wood floors). The prices are on par with other ice cream places but with a hometown, not corporate vibe. We had the brown butter Texas pecan (they don't skimp on the nuts!), the dark chocolate (very chocolatey), the salty vanilla bean (classically creamy), and strawberry balsamic. All were very creamy and delectable and I want to go back there as soon as I can.
What a wonderful, quaint and cool place to come in, talk over delicious and incredible flavors of ice cream.Reasonably prices, great spot for college kids and just an all around you have to go to location.We’re definitely going back!
The ice cream was phenomenal!!!! Their waffle cone are so good and completely unique! The staff was amazing and even gave my Chihuahua a pup cup of ice cream that she went nuts for one it had warmed up just a little! I will definitely find time to stop by again!
We come back every year when we are in town. Happy, helpful and genuinely nice staff.You definitely need to give them a try.Parking in the back is a little tricky to get to, but worth it.
Cute little place with amazing ice cream! Loved the unique flavors (I had garden mint and strawberry balsamic) sourced locally, and it was so creamy and delicious. 10/10 would recommend
This was a stop on the Waco Tour with complement cup of ice cream. It was so good! Brown sugar Pecan was tasty, which is one of their most popular, I am told. But the Salted Caramel was also outstanding!
Ice cream melted so quick and so quickly poured through the cone that my daughter was very sad when she was with 50% of the ice cream on the floor instead of inside. all the rest is ok, the man at the counter was super polite and enthusiastic. And the taste was also ok. Wi-Fi and WC is available. Hope to try ice cream not from the floor but in a nice cone. Clean everywhere so plus a star :)
We visited Heritage Creamery a few nights ago. The staff was OUTSTANDING. They went out of their way to safely accomodate our nut allergies. They also made us feel really welcome. Additionally, the ice cream was amazing - and has limited ingredients (love this!). We will sure be back our next time in Waco!
If the strawberry balsamic flavor is available, get it. You will not be sorry! In fact, all of their flavors are amazing and the service is wonderful.
It is very hard to find good ice cream if you have a dairy allergy but Heritage had a great option. They only have one but the one was delicious. We might go back tonight!
