A Waco original, Health Camp has been in operation on the famous Circle since 1949. The retro charm of a walk-up window burger joint and the fun 50s music inside will take you back to a simpler time. I had a cheeseburger and tots that were good, not the best in town, but good enough. That chocolate malt, though, was divine. Get it. This is worth a stop to take a selfie and say you did!
Who wouldn’t want to visit here - ELVIS came here to eat! We have passed by many times in our travels, but never stopped. Today we decided to have lunch here. It did not disappoint! We are having to stay away from so much sugar, so I can’t tell you how the shakes are, but they have over 30 flavors and they sound amazing. The bacon cheeseburgers and fries were great. Old time diner - looks like it’s still the original building but everything is very well kept and sparkling clean. Very much worth the visit!

The food was good, but everything else was a bad experience. They messed up our order and my friends’ order and then blamed us for getting it wrong. They completely forgot to add a burger and then told my friend who ordered a cheeseburger that it was her fault for ordering the wrong thing when she received something else. It also took a very long time to get our food. I do not think it is worth coming here and waiting for food just to be talked down to by the staff. Also, the bathrooms were out of soap and very dirty.
Great place! Dogs were big, split down the middle and grilled. Yum! The burger was oddly satisfying in this day of textureless fast food burgers. Quality ingredients. Shakes were also good. Do yourself a favor and see how good it can be.
We had really high expectations for this place, especially the onion rings. But they were having supply issues and did not have onion rings on the menu. The burgers were okay, fries were yummy, and the shakes were delicious. It was good, but not all we hoped for.
Loved it. First time eating at this joint. It was full of people. But great atmosphere. Good burgers and the milk shake......the pineapple one I had was great. Try it. I highly recommend it.
Delicious quick burger spot, will not disappoint need to come back for a shake.
