We just tried this place tonight and man what an awesome experience! First, let me say thank you to our amazing drive thru assistant Anna! She was kind, knowledgeable AND communicated with us about our order including how long it would take - this is unmatched customer service in my opinion. Second, hell yes this is tasty tasty chicken all around. We had classic and hot both very flavorful. I will definitely revisit when the craving for hot chicken hits again ?
Fries and the ice were the only things enjoyable. The chicken sandwich was made of 2 nuggets in a small hotdog bun, so definitely smaller than a regular sandwich. The gluten free nuggets were microwaved and very tough to chew. Very crazy non gender bathrooms so despite having 2 rooms, woman will use the same as men's toilet, and they didn't have urinals so you can imagine. The restaurant floors were sticky from dirty mop water. Lunch for 2 was $28.
We heard this place had delicious chicken so we had to try it out! It WAS delicious:) I ordered the tender meal and my husband had the drumsticks. We also ordered nuggets with the hottest sauce that wasn't the heat level that my husband was hoping for but it did have a delicious flavor. Everything we ate was delicious! My favorite was the TOAST. I would have preferred crunchy tenders. Since the coleslaw came with the meal I went ahead and ate it; I was impressed. I didn't care too much for the tea and I'm a huge TEA FAN and don't care for sodas too much:( The girl who took our order was very helpful, informative and patient with us. One thing that I really liked about this place was the landscape. It's tricky pulling off cactus and they did a great job! ?
For the price and size of tenders it’s not worth it. Definitely won’t be going back.
I’ve been a few times and each time I’m pretty satisfied. The portions are filling and the chicken is well cooked. Last time I ordered a meal, however, I didn’t receive fries which come with it. It can certainly run a bit pricey for what it is.
I LOVE Hawk’s, but the recent menu changes leave me no choice but to come here to ask for my Carolina BBQ sauce and cheese fries back! The chicken is as excellent as ever, but the sauce and cheese fries were what have kept me choosing Hawks over other chicken options. I’m the type of person to sub my coleslaw out for something else regardless of the place, so it was frustrating to learn I couldn’t replace the coleslaw with extra toast. A side of coleslaw is $1.75 more expensive than a side of extra toast, so why can’t I choose a less expensive option and pay the same price? I still plan on going on occasion to enjoy the delicious chicken and crispy toast, but if the menu changes stay for good, I’m not sure I’ll still be able to hold it so highly.
Mildest hot chicken I've ever eaten. Good, but not at all hot. Maybe the hot dipping sauce was hot, but the guy behind the counter could have told me the chicken wasn't hot, the sauce was.
I never leave a review. I had to let everyone know I have been coming to eat here since day 1. Food smacks. Manager Ericka is friendly and knows my order as soon as I say my name. She suggested I try the chicken nuggets and I was impressed. They are great. If you don't what to order ask the folks that work there. Sauce menu is not huge like it used to be but they are handmade. Huge plus. Also get the fresh squeeze lemonade.
Went to Hawks and manager Erica and Veronica were so polite. Those two ladies were doing the drive-thru and helping as many as 15 of us in the dining area. It was a pleasure to see people care about customer service. The food was awesome. Try the nuggets. They are better then any I have ever tried.
I've tried this place twice, wanting to love it, and the strips and fries are totally underwhelming. Both are flavorful but somehow not satisfying? Something is off about the texture I think. The breading is patchy and weak, and the fries are the type that get tough and chewy as soon as they cool down.The tenders are pretty small so keep that in mind when ordering.
