I rated 3 because I ordered off the sandwich area @ $9 & change w/ tax over $10. I was very surprised no side come with it like fries, etc... I had to order separately, which I've never experienced @ a restaurant before Good atmosphere, had a great waitress & I hear is a local favoriteI've only lived in Hewitt 2 yrs and still exploring Hewitt /Waco area & all the different places to go. Had a good time
Awesome meal. Even though the restaurant was packed, we were sat within 5 min. And had our food on the table within 10 minutes of walking in the door. I got the Catfish, which was crunchy in the outside, but pillowy on the inside. Everyone else got burgers which were also really good. Well be back.
Georges is a must if you're visiting Waco. They have an extensive menu and grear food. My only complaint is that parking can be a challenge and getting a seat can be problematic.
A standard in bustling Waco, Texas. A location in Hewitt. Well managed and always busy. Food is excellent. Great! Cold beer and bar selection as well. Great for kids. Lots of families. Just an all-around well run local favorite.
This was my first time visiting for breakfast and it was pretty good. I wish the server would have let me know how big the drinks are - they are massive! Food came out a bit warm rather than hot which probably led to the taste. Our server was great and accommodating with our swaps. I would go back!
I was somewhat dismayed when I saw the hamburger and sandwich prices and noted that they did not include French fries, but my wife noticed that the dinners invited two side orders for only a few dollars more. I ordered a chicken (not Hawaiian chicken) meal and left with enough for two meal starters at home. We also ordered chips and salsa and left with another foam container full of the chips that we didn't eat. Any two people could order that and skip a side dish each. Service was adequate on a busy Saturday. We look forward to our next visit.
We had a party with close to 40 people tonight and we had the absolute best service thanks to Parker. She was on point and very observant to all of our party. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had with such a large party and we will definitely ask for her next time we come back!
