I gave them 2 stars only because we had a really great experience about 11 months ago and came back to Fuego taco again due to the memory of that, but is was just GROSS today. It was very greasey, little meat, a LOT of cream corn, all sauce, and the prices were so high! The service was okay but the store was so dirty...we had cheese caked on our table and bathroom was even worse! We do n9t recommend this store and will not be back.

We had a great visit last week. The food was amazing, and the prices were very reasonable for the quantity and quality. Would absolutely go back it we visit Waco again.

Great lunch after walking thru the Magnolia Empire. Great GF options in “The Hippie” always a great meal in Waco. I go out of my way to have lunch there.

It had been awhile since I’d had my beloved Classic Carne Guisada at the Waco Fuego’s. I have usually gone through the drive-thru, but opted to take my wife inside. Big mistake. There were positives. The queso is still better than most, my wife enjoyed her Nine-Juan-Juan meal, and the Chipotle Corn is hard to beat. However, my meal was served cold and the place was filthy. The Condiment Bar needed some serious attention, the floor had dried food and sauce on it, the trash was overflowing, and all around the drink bar was just flat gross. Look at the pictures. Do not know if I’ll be back. A little elbow grease and a step-up in leadership could make a world of difference. If not, it scares me that the front is a reflection of the cleanliness in back.

The food is good. The place is kind of a mess though. As others have noted, the customer service is very poor.Sad to say that this place has really changed from the time that it opened. This location and also the next door hawk's chicken sadly has really terrible service. I can totally empathize with the workers serving tons of impolite students but the way that these workers treat customers is really a shame. Very rude. The food is good but every person we interacted with seem like they wanted to be literally anywhere else but helping us. Never seen that before. Tried to thank them for their help but was shrugged off. There must be something going on that these employees hate their jobs so much. Hopefully management doesn't take it out on them by this review but tries to get to the bottom of this internally...

I LOVE their food. The Dr. Pepper Cowboy is my favorite by far but all of their food is great, including their breakfast!

Fuego has gone all the way off a cliff! Rude employees. How can someone say thank you for every response to their questions and when receiving their order to get completely ignored. This is multiple people not just one. They burn all their meat on a regular basis, their prices were already kinda outrageous and now they are even higher. There’s no such thing as a 6.59 TACO…oh except here. Also closed Mondays?! What the hell happened. Tired of repeated horrible visits. Don’t get me wrong there have been a couple good ones but so few that I won’t return at this point.

Ordered breakfast tacos curbside and after being on hold for a while I realized no one was going to come out, so we had to go in for our order. The food was cold. Potatoes were undercooked, the grilled peppers were uncooked and very big. I assumed The sausage for the breakfast tacos was going to be ground sausage instead of links, so I was not happy about that either. Was unable to eat food, very unpleased.

This is our second time in 3 days to eat here.. we tried the one in College Station and just tried the Waco location. So good!!! All the food is made fresh including their tortillas. We love the South Padre Shrimp tacos and the tortilla soup is amazing. We hope they bring locations to Arlington/Fort Worth area!Open 24/7 including dine in.

We were in from out of town going to an event at the zoo. We stayed overnight and we were looking for breakfast on the way out of town. We googled breakfast nearby and this place was very close to our hotel. We did not know what to expect as we are not from around here. This was a Sunday morning so we thought that they might be too busy. We arrived kind of early and it was not crowded at all. We ordered breakfast tacos and some chips and queso. The tacos were great and made to order. The queso was really good. Clean place, very friendly manager who visited with us and discovered he knew the football coach at the college where we live. Great food, great location, we will be back if we get this way again.
