First visit to this place. Food was good and we spent about 25$ for two people. Everything tasted freshly made. Will be going back.

Best Breakfast tacos imo. Price awesome for the size. Red sauce legit. Staff always nice & they are piping hot!

Stopped for breakfast tacos and was impressed! Very authentic, and generous portions. Service was quick and friendly, and parking was easy. Extremely reasonable prices. Look out for panhandlers interrupting your meal, however.

Fresh, handmade, corn tortillas so good you will come back for them! The Pastor and the Chicken Enchiladas Verde were outstanding and even the rice and beans were great.

Really great service and even better food

I ran over to El Charro Tapaito on my morning break. Order a bacon, eggs, cheese, potatoes and beans. They had 1 cook and I was served uncooked bacon in my burrito. I did not have time to return. I will say this they will never get my business again serving uncooked bacon.

Bought menudo today it was so greasy and so much fat then tripe no flavor usually its good but not worth the money today had to toss it out.

My carne a la maxicana dish was great!!,homemade tortillas good,One of the favorite restaurants I visit when I come to Waco.

New restaurant for me. I was downtown for equipment pickup and training. So, I wanted to have something on that side of town. I had never been here.I tried the (can you guess?) Carne Guisada. It was delicious. Flavorful, but not too spicy. Tender chunks of meat. The corn tortillas were the fluffy type. The rice and beans were decent, but didn't have much flavor. The guacamole was delicious, but had too much cilantro. I don't like the leafy texture. It looked like the made it fresh just for me. The salsa was flavorful without being hot. With my meal, they brought green and red salsa. The green didn't seem hot at all while the red was very spicy. Backward from what I'm accustomed to. I should have put a couple drops of the red on the Guisada and in the beans. The dining room was full, but there are only around a dozen tables inside. Almost everyone spoke Spanish. I got the impression some were from out of town by the conversation (which I more easily understand now.)I wanted to speak Spanish, but I don't have the confidence. I know that native speakers will be forgiving of me if I get things wrong, just as I am for non-native English speakers (and some English speakers). The decorations were amazing. I could have stared at the paintings all day. Pics that do not do them justice below. It was a lovely stop on a Sunday afternoon.

Had got a bad burrito from them. The bacon was not cooked properly and eggs were undercooked. Ended up with an upset stomach
