I have visited Don Carlos a few times in the past, like 7 years ago. I came back a couple of weeks and found out it wasn't anything special, just like in the past. Their prices seem to haves jumped up, and they took forever to bring our food out, the server was attentive but kept apologizing for the food not coming out. Our family parrillada didn't taste all that good, tastes like it was cooked with burnt oil, their hot sauce is not spicy at all. It will probably take me another 7 years to give this place a try again.

The food was delicious ? ??

Service took awhile to arrive, food 45 mins to an hour, but it was like 20 of us celebrating my sister 34th birthday so it really was fine. Had to go get my wine from front bar, been a nicer experience if the server had some assistance, he seemed quite new. When food came we ate but more so everyone took home their food.

Group of 4-15 of my friends enjoy Thursday nights with the patio party and have dinner and drinks while there. They moved the party inside tonight due to the cold. I was first to arrive and walked in with a gift bag ( for one of my friends) in one hand and phone to my ear with the other hand. I did not approach the hostess stand, waiting to end my call. I scanned the room for my group. The hostess told me i wasn't allowed to bring outside food in, i made eye contact and told her i didn't have food. She interrupted my conversation again about bringing outside food in. I again said i didn't have food a motioned to my phone and said i was on a call. Once i completed my call, i spotted my usual server and went to the side of the room where the radio dj had set up. The server took my bag and sat in down on the table for me. The manager came over before i sat down and told me they didn't allow outside food, i opened the bag and said i DO NOT have food. He then said i was rude to the hostess and needed to leave. Not a problem but I did have a few words to say on my way out. Needless to say my group enjoyed a nice dinner and drinks at La Fiesta and Don Carlis lost my business for good.

Group of 9 people stopped in for lunch. The parking is ample and it was not crowded. Complimentary chips and salsa are served warm (tasty!) and adult beverages are available. Margaritas were good. They have a large menu and offer a daily weekday luncheon special. Off the regular menu I had the Dos Amigos plate..which is 2 cheese enchiladas, rice and beans. Others had the Chicken enchilada plate, and the Chili Relleno plate. Food was good but not exceptional. Prices are reasonable, as well. The problem is that the service was poor. Took about a half hour to get the lunch entrees, and almost as long to process our tabs. Yes, we were a group of nine, but this was noteworthy. Unfortunately, since otherwise not a bad meal.

We enjoyed our drinks and chips and salsa were so good. The food was plenty and it was ok. Service was great too!

It was okay but the food was rather undesirable. the service was great nice faces and the food was fast paying was fast, but the food did not sit right it may just be me but it was kinda nasty and weird for my liking.

The chips and salsa was good. We started with a guacamole salad to share. I had the chicken enchilada plate and they were tender, well seasoned and more food than I could finish. Nice flavors and good service.

Honestly the food is fine but if you get a waitress named Haley shes beyond rude be careful but the other waiters or waitresses are very nice. Been going here for years and usually it's a 5/5 but last time I went I ordered something and when I got the plate it was wrong it took forever to find the waitress and when we did she was rude rolled her eyes at me and wanted to argue because she thought I was wrong about the plate, she stomped off to find a menu to prove I was wrong only to find she was actually in the wrong and she came back with a fake apology and smile and honestly that threw us off for the night and we just asked for the check and left. I sent an email to inform them of the incident nothing happened no call back so no thanks. Ill stick to real Mexican food instead of TexMex. Really didn't like to feel like a Karen when we work in the food service too but wow never in all my years have I seen such rude blunt service.

We hadn't been to this restaurant in over 2 years because of the bad service... We had a $10 off coupon so we decided to try again... When we walked in, there was no hostess, our "waiter from Jan. 2000" seated us in his section. I ordered hot tea. He brougt me cold tea. I got my hot tea, but when he refilled it, he refilled it with iced tea.... My diabetic husband ordered unsweet tea. He was given sweet tea. When we ordered, the waiter brought us 2 plates for us to use. Both were dirty. We asked for clean ones. He brougt us one... And it was dirty. When he brought us our ticket, it only showed $9.24 taken off. He couldn't tell us why. When we were leaving, we were going to get the soft serve ice cream... We forgot... If you come before 12:00, it's not usually ready ... Apparently, someone can't turn on the machine any earlier??? We won't be back for quite awhile...
