Ask for beans, got Mac and cheese. ask for okra and was told nothing fried was made today. For some odd reason this Dickies does not taste anywhere near like the other one's I've been. Then it dawned on me. The food taste like it had an IHOP twist to it and realized it tasted like Syrup. On a side note: I'm not a very picky person but from a business perspective. I'd be very embarrassed in the service provided and the quality of food provided from here.5hr update: Changed to one star. Don't come here if you want $18 worth of Hershey Squirts. Not only me but my co driver as well. We thought the food tasted funny. I want a refund
A friend recommended this to me.I had the poultry plate (marinated chicken and ham) with a pecan pie slice and a lemonade. I forget to get a side of Mac and cheese and cream spinach, but next time.
Never will go back there again!!! The employees were very rude and disrespectful. They kept looking at me while laughing and making fun of me to one another about my size. They were in the middle of preparing my order when I finally said something about it. Told them I'd like a refund instead. I won't be spending my money somewhere that has rude and unprofessional employees. Was uncalled for with the way I was treated.
Don't bother spending money here.I live around the area and have given them many tries. Never once have they had full menu available. Sausages will always be dry like they been sitting all day. Brisket is the same way along with the ribs when they have them. They will literally tell you they don't know how to make burnt ends. So why have it on the menu?Don't try to go in past about 5 o'clock cause they will basically have no food. The rolls are ok when they are not cold and hard. There's far far better places to get BBQ in the area so save your the trouble and the trips to the bathroom.
I was so hungry, I forgot my last visit I came here but what the hay everyone deserves a second chance. First red flag , some one yells from the back we ran out of cheese n Mac BBQ sauce, blah blah blah so I ordered a pulled pork sandwich can't wrong with that order. Oh n pinto beans n BBQ sauce. Took my food to the dinning area...WOULD think a texas tornado passed thru here there was food crums all over the place. I don't think the customers had a chance to pick up after [email protected]!!!! Good grief. When I took a big bite of my sandwich the buns came apart, the pork was burned to a crisp had to throw it out. Well after I shifted thru the bread to find the soft meat----there was none. Over heard one one the guys hay go make yourself that sandwich and take a brake!!!! He had a secret box with fresh meat. DAMMED. I think I'm going to reroute my trip hope nobody thinks I quite if I go to Houston by Dallas. This is the last time I give Dickys my money$$$$
The worst bbq I have ever had. The brisket was so dry that the little bit of sauce they gave me wasn’t near enough to offset the drones. The portions were so small for a $17 dollar plate. On top of that I was shorted the three sides I ordered. I will never get another order from this or any other Dickies BBQ.
I kept asking for meals on the menu just to be told they were out of it. After asking for several things that they didn’t have, I finally asked what they did have. Why be open when you’re out of so many items and then we were told, they didn’t have anything that had to be fried? Also, food was horrible, you get a small amount and service was even worse. Both employees seem to hate their job and act like it’s an inconvenience for you to order. I will never eat there again considering we threw away the majority of the food and I ended up with food poisoning. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Them boys didn’t want to do their job. Barely any food made at dinner time. We were there around 5o'clock. I was so very disappointed. They were more worried about their phones then they were serving happy customers.
One third, jelly fat, one third burned black jerky, one third jerky; side's good, sign read $12 bill $15+
I like the idea of enjoying BBQ sandwich when i parked here, but when i ordered, not only it went up in price at register but it also came without the bread??? Just BBQ brisket wrapped in paper. How it's called a sandwich when there's no bread? I think for $15, I'm not asking much.
