I used to come here in college and now I come when I’m in town. The coffee is always great and the drinks are pretty too. The staff is nice and their house syrups are to die for. I love the rooftop patio too!
This is the best coffee in Waco. The beans are not over roasted, nor are the coffee grounds burned by making the coffee with water that's too hot or adding milk that's too hot. Every time I take that first sip, my response is, "wow, that's good coffee."I learned to like coffee (not added sweeteners and flavors) in South Africa which has very good coffee, including the #1 coffee shop in the world, and Dichotomy lives up to South African standards. If you like good, rich, creamy coffee, this is the place for you.Their old fashions and other mixed drinks are fantastic as well.
Large & roomy coffee place. Lots of students when we were there. Wifi as many had laptops. Quick service. Serves iced drinks as well. Open on Sunday

Awesome spot! I work in specialty coffee myself, and dichotomy was not a let down. I went in with my family and our friends so we kinda swamped them - but the baristas were nice and handled it well. They use Apex Coffee Roaster’s beans and they’re pretty good! The bar is actually really clean and classy too. Definitely a dope spot to hangout - and the baristas know what’s up if you want some craft coffee!
Yesterday, I met my husband for a refreshment, he was sitting directly from the counter. He was drinking a beer. I took my seat across from him, in eye view of the many people behind the counter, it was not busy at all. No one offered to serve me or ask me “how can I help” you.I was so disappointed that no one was observant to notice my presence. I don’t think we want to be back, it was only our 2nd visit. Customer Service is extremely important and should be the priority of your business. Thank you
We stopped in Feb 3, my birthday, severe ice storm, 20 minutes before closing. Friendly and efficient staff, no rush or pressure. Nice venue, good vibe, EXCELLENT latte. The snickerdoodle cookie was stale, and that was okay, made for good dunking. See you next time.
Stoped by while in Waco for TAPPS competition. Great service with an Ethiopian pour over. Great atmosphere & would have bought a shirt if they had it in my size. Excellent experience & will stop in again next time I’m in Waco.
In town for business and pleasure and tried this spot downtown. Love the low key vibe in this place. Perfect cocktails and charcuterie board. Next time we're back in town, will try the coffee. Bartenders are also very accommodating ??
Staff was friendly and attentive, atmosphere was very festive and cute with the holiday decorations, coffee was strong and mixed drinks were delicious! I particularly recommend the “Christmapolitan”, I was skeptical because I’m not a fan of vermouth or cosmos but it was perfectly balanced and soo tasty. Also, the “Jolly Koala” drink comes with a little koala! How fun is that??
