Had an amazing evening at Chuy's in Waco last night. We had a large group of 15 people. our server, D-Ray, was amazing! friendly, funny, made recommendations on the drink menu, and even took pictures for us! he left a little surprise at the end of a video we took. he made a great evening even better!! The food was good, too! Chicken enchiladas, queso, and a Burrito is what my husband and I had. Unlimited chips and salsa. Someone ordered the nachos, which looked amazing as well! for drinks, we had a strawberry mojito, the New Texas Martini,. Grandma's Rockin Rita, and I also tried a frozen blackberry margarita. All around a great evening of great food, great drinks, amazing friends, and one of the best servers I've ever had!
I really like this place. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. They give excellent tips on what to order and what two margaritas to mix together. The food is delicious! I wasn't too impressed with the steak in my fajitas. It tasted pretty burt and had a strong charcoal flavor. Their chicken is marinated and is extremely juicy and delicious. Their margaritas are very good. I highly suggest mixing Mango and Strawberry. They also have a skinny margarita so there's a little fun for everybody! I highly recommend coming and enjoying this amazing Tex-Mex restaurant!
For the most part, never have issues eating here. But tonight my wife ordered a regular margarita which said it was seven dollars. The large was 10. We paid 10 but the glass looked like half a glass, what I would consider a regular. Asked the waiter upon paying and his response was that he refers to them in a different way and that seemed like BS. The food was great as always but feel like we got BS'd about the charge. Look at your tickets and pay attention to what they're charging you.
I visited Chuys for the express interests in their Elvis Chicken! It appears they have taken it off their menu so I will not be visiting until such time as they get their menu back in order!
The food was so #delicious and the cocktails were fantastic and so good! The food was brought to our table in a timely manner. Also, the waitress was very friendly and gave excellent service, My family can’t wait to go back to chuy’s.
Ordered takeout to eat in the hotel. This is a Saturday night and the restaurant is very busy. We ordered Baja Shrimp tacos and fajita chicken tacos and both were excellent. The sauces were yummy, the chips that came with were thin and crispy, the quantities were abundant. Will definitely eat here again,both on vacation and when we get home!
Chuy’s is AMAZING!! We love the ranch salsa and the chips are thin and crispy. I had the Elvis Presley Memorial Combo and it was CRAZY good. Excellent enchiladas with fresh ingredients. Ashley was a great, friendly server as well. I can’t wait to go back.
Always enjoy Chuys. While the original location will always be my favorite I don’t mind the convenience of the others. The food was on point and our server was awesome. Of course a on a weekend afternoon you may have a little wait to be seated but it’s worth it. Enjoy
