Absolutely wonderful pub in Waco. Great staff, dood looked amazing.. I only had one drink. But you can see why! I thought mega was generic restaurant speak for two extra ounces... I was wrong! Couldn't finish as was on a time limit. Will visit again!

Amazing. The brunch was off the charts delicious. Had the Southern eggs Benedict with a side of biscuits and gravy. Bloody Mary was perhaps the best I’ve ever had. But Dez really sets this place apart from others. She has a passion for hospitality that radiates. Within minutes you feel a connection with her and can tell that she authentically loves Barnett’s and what she does. Now add Ethan to the equation and you have dream team! Over 1,000 spirits! There is not a whisky they don’t have. The only problem is that it took me 4 years to find it and my daughter graduates from Baylor today. I will come back to Waco to visit Barnett’s. I have four years to make up for :-)

This was my first time going and I have to say I loved it! True old school bar atmosphere with drink that are to die for. My bartender Sophia was incredible and recommended an awesome tequila drink “Jalisco Pearl”. Highly recommend this place!

Smoke was absolutely horrific. I met 3 different servers in my stay and all were rude and inconvenienced. Drinks left dry for 20 minutes plus. Mind you I’m a very simple guy but getting anyones attention was futile. Not sure if it’s a staffing issue or what. Food was great, zero complaints there but highly unlikely I’ll return. Mostly due to service and smoke

Rude bartenders, ran out of the drinks some of the other wives wanted. Giant chunks of meat and cheese instead of smaller bites on the charcuterie board. We have this reunion here every year and this was by far the most disappointing experience we have ever had here. The atmosphere was very hostile towards the men in our group because they were standing up talking. Apparently reading through some other reviews this has become the norm. Pretty sure we will be holding our future reunions elsewhere.

Louder than I expected. It didn’t have 4 of the drinks that we went there for. The food was okay. We got the butcher block, it did not have the grapes, but pretzels instead. It is definitely not kid friendly.

We had a great time here and Dez was amazing! Food, drink and atmosphere were outstanding, we always love meeting fellow foodies! We can't wait to come back???♨️

We sat at the bar for a solid 10 to fifteen minutes and did not receive service. The bar was relatively slow for a Sunday evening. My recommendation is that a simple greeting or we will be right with you would be sufficient.

food was bad, the music was blasting during brunch & they tack on a 20% service fee without any mention. good drinks though.

My daughters and I went for brunch, one of them ordered a rare steak with eggs. Most of our food was good, but my daughter who was eating the steak thought someone was passing gas next to our table, but they left and she was still smelling the foul smell. She realized it was the steak and thought it was spoiled. She talked to the chef and it turns out it was the marinade that smelled so bad and said it was because she ordered it rare. It was expensive so we took it home, my husband who loves rare steak could not get pass the smell so we gave it to the dog who also passed it up. It has become a joke in our family because no one wants to go there and eat the fart steak
