When you ask if you can substitute something on the menu they actually charge you for each item. Which really isn't a substitute. And watch out if they ask you if you wanted a drink refill. Each will cost an additional 4 bucks. . each.. My wife and I order from the 2 for$ 30 menu and the in laws ordered from the$ 12 dollar lunch menu. And by the end of lunch. We paid$ 92 dollars. We didn't complain or make a scene . However I understand why the place was empty in the middle of the day. The drink I asked for was not available ;IPA) they said it didn't sell well. I find that hard to believe since most places sell well. Anyway by the end I understood why the parking lot was empty and there was only 1 waitress for the entire resturaunt.
Early for a 3 clock meeting nearby, I decided to enjoy a snack while I waited.I arrived on a Tuesday around 2pm and the place was empty, I was the only guest at the time. Service was spectacular, I had the undivided attention of the server. There was no bartender on duty so I settled for an ice cold Sam Adams in a bottle to accompany an order of onion rings. Fast no hassle dining. I could picture this place with live music but it was simply a quiet afternoon during a slow period.
Food was delicious and the price was great. They have perfect lunch combinations at an affordable price.. Don't go at 2:30 because the service was horrible. The waitress barely did her job... Would have given it 5 starts if not for her...I wouldn't even had tipped but my wife made me.... I'm sure the servers are better at another time ...I guess her phone was more important.
Never again I haven't been there in a while because the service was so bad and it has not changed it's actually worse it took 5 minutes to get his attention for somebody to set us down there were six couples in there nobody had any food one waitress it took 45 minutes to get our mail and that was me asking halfway through because we had to go back to work I watch the waitress deliver the food and then when it come time to pay the bill she had no idea how to make change she had everybody's checks laid out there with the money and I was watching her struggle on how to make change she finally went to the back and got somebody. I ordered Pepsi my friend ordered tea I ran out of drink she brought my friend to drink but you didn't bring me one my friend didn't need one I asked for it to go cup an hour later when we were done eating she brought me just a cup and I sick do you think I could have something in the cup she gave me a half a cup of Pepsi she gave my friend half a cup of tea I don't know why the half a cup thing it was just strange that she would not fill it all the way up to the top I went to the bathroom there's no paper towels the bathroom spill tea I will not be back I know it's not her fault that she was the only one working but they need to either get some help or get some help that knows what they're doing the food was fantastic not worth the wait it took an hour and 15 minutes just to get something to eat and the drinks are $3.39
Food was fine. The service was lacking due to being understaffed is my guess. This made a difference in being able to really enjoy our dine in experience.
The food was Fabulous!!!! Our waitress however missed a $20 tip by ignoring our presence. We couldn't get change. Tip: Be nice to everyone. You never know what God has in front of you. Good luck Jeana.
Applebee's commonly gets a lot of bad rap. And lately with the problems restaurants have of getting employees, the restaurants are having a hard time satisfying customers. This location was not the exception. Came in with my SO after running a half marathon hungry as can be hoping that by avoiding the busy hour it would not be as bad. It wasn't. There were only three waiters, bartender included, and they were hustling. Still, we were seated promptly, had to wait a bit to get the order and food, but it was really not that long. As busy as our waiter was, he was prompt and courteous. The food was well cooked and delicious. Thank you!
We waited 7 min to get seated there were only a couple of tables with couples. Not busy at all ... finally got seated and we were there waiting so waitress can ask us what we want to drink 20 min passed and no waitress came so we got up and left .. first time at Applebee's and last time there if I could give them - 100 stars i would
Worst Applebee's in the history of all Applebee's. Three o'clock on a Thursday and it was dead, probably due to how terrible it is. They had 2 servers and about 5 customers and it was still IMPOSSIBLE to get any service. Drinks went unfilled for about 10 minutes after it taking about 10 minutes after being first seated to even meet our server and get them in the first place. Food was overcooked, and steaks were undercooked. Servers lack knowledge of their menus, and didn't offer to ask management when they didn't have an answer. Highy recommend not ever stepping foot in this establishment.
My fish was overcooked very slow service considering they were not busy my wife's steak was more or very close to more fat then meat
