I’ve been coming here for two years. I came to 1102 Bubble Tea yesterday and am shocked by the increase in price. The boba tea is delicious but NOT worth the high price! I paid close to $16 for two teas! I love the flavor and the ambience inside the store but won’t be coming as frequent anymore. I’m okay paying $5 and up to $6 but $7-$8 is too pricey.I personally would recommend going to other boba shops.Solid 3/5
Order three items, only received one item that was what I actually ordered. Store ran out of the flavored syrup and toppings that I wanted in both of my drink orders. I placed my order around 3:30 in the afternoon but the store was already out of almost everything I ordered. Either this place is super popular or they have super low inventory. The substitutes (flavor and toppings) tasted so bad that I threw away both of the drinks. $16 down the drain plus the gas I spent to drive to the store to pick up my order. Great place to waste your time and money. The staff was friendly, but friendliess will only get you so far if you don't have enough inventory to actually fulfill the orders. This was a twenty some dollar order and more than half of that order is currently in the trash. Highly doubt I will be returning to that place.
Excited to try because my daughter loves boba. Well I waited about 24 mins just to have my order taken. The lady taking the order was not personable once so ever. Also they were OUT OF BOBA!!!!! Not sure how a “Bubble tea” labeled restaurant is out of boba! It’s literally in the name… won’t be returning and never placed my order.
Ciara was extremely rude to me and my eight year old. I wish I never would have waisted my money on this business who hires unprofessional people. I will not recommend this place of business to anyone. Getting an attitude after my 8 year old noticed that her drink didn't have brown agar that she requested. Giving an attitude towards an eight year old is uncalled for and I will spend my money else where.
Very cute boba cafe. The staff was really friendly and the teas are delicious. We ordered the cheesesticks and I was so impressed! One order comes with several, and the dipping sauce is a little spicy and just tastes amazing! It's also bright inside and perfect for taking aesthetic photos.
I was excited to try this place.. but was very disappointed when ordering a drink. the tea was horrendous, I’m sorry to say that but it was. I ordered a Macha milk tea with boba. she asked me what “base” tea I wanted and I looked confused and said Macha. She said they start with a base tea so I picked jasmine. that doesn’t make Sense, considering macha is tea.. you just need to add milk or water. When receiving my drink the taste was so bad. It was bitter and way to strong, the boba was horribly over cooked honestly the worst boba tea drink I’ve ever had. They are way over priced. And I will not be coming back. What a shame this place has potential but they need to work on their items.
Came in tonight with $50 bill. Order 3 large drinks (over $21) when I notice a note for the employees not to accept anything over a $20. I mention that it is not posted on the door or anywhere for the customers. I even offer to order another large drink that would make my total near $30. Told by the "shift leader" that the boss would get upset if they see a $50 & get offered to have the phone number to the manager. Sorry but instead you can lose my business, which is oabout $100 a week.
The service here is very inconsistent. Sometimes the employees who take your order are kind and helpful, other times they’re short with you and treat you like an inconvenience. The night staff is rude… if you listen closely, you can hear them rolling their eyes at you. Sometimes they’re playing Uno when you walk in… and then they just stare at each other until one of them decides to finally take your order. I’m almost 30! I’ve had my fair share of customer service jobs. I know that they’re not the best, but you could at least pretend to care. Also, if you happen to still be in the store by 11PM, they do not politely let you know that they are closed (“Thank you for coming in. We are now closed. We hope to see you again soon.”) Instead, it’s a quick “We’re closed!”The cafe is very cute, but if you look closely you will see that it is a bit worn down. The owners need to give this location some serious TLC. I’ve been to the 1102 in Arlington and it seems well kept. I wish this location got the same attention.
I just wanted to say thank you to whomever wrote this cute note on my cup for Valentine’s Day. I was having a rough start to my day and this cheered me up. I really appreciate the kindness! 1102 has the best boba tea! Please try them out. I recommend the earl grey tea 100% sweetness with boba. Happy Valentine’s Day! ?♥️
My German exchange student was seeking bobo tea when she arrived. This place is super cute with study books and soft music. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable and allowed us a few samples to taste to help make out perfect drink.
