We hired Uncle Mutt's BBQ to cater our wedding reception a month ago. Let me tell you, that was one of the best decisions we've ever made! A lot of our guests were traveling into TX for the event, and many had never been here before, so we wanted to serve some true TX BBQ to give them a taste of the area. Uncle Mutt's BBQ did not disappoint!! Our guests loved every bite, and we received several compliments on the food. They were so easy to work with, the pricing was reasonable, they were timely and professional, and the food was amazing! The food is good but they mixed up the sides and put them with the wrong meals. Second time it happen within the previous times I got food there.

We came at lunch.Price: 4/5 Decent Value.Portions 5/5 Generous Portions.Brisket 5/5 Moist and flavorful.Chicken 3/5 Chicken leg was on the dry side, thigh was better moisture wise, but flavor was generic.Sausage 3/5 Nothing special. Not Great, Not bad.Sauce 5/5 Sauce was amazing. Sweet, slightly spicy and tangy. Great!!!Sides 4/5
The sides are great and the staff gets a A+. The brisket I asked for was moist and it was pretty dry. The man cutting it was also the one that asked if I wanted moist. The ribs are also an excellent choice. I will definitely go back when I am in Victoria.
I ordered the brisket plate with green beans and their house rice. I like fatty brisket not lean.Well the brisket was so burnt there was no fat left, plus it had no flavor won't go back.
The drive thru did take a few minutes, but it was well worth the wait. Their BBQ sandwich was really good and the fried potatoes are wonderful. I will be back.
We were driving around looking for a place to stop and eat and came across Uncle Mutt's Bar-B-Q. Glad we did!!Food was great!! Brisket was tender and moist, the rib meat was falling off the bone as expected. Would have liked the sauce to be a little more thicker but over all the food was amazing with friendly staff!! I do recommend if your looking for some good o'l fashion BBQ.
