Awesome food and great service
Very cool vibe, great location, great staff, great food!
Late evening 9pm closes at 10. Very accommodating never rushed past closing. Food and drinks awesome. I had spinach salad with tuna steaks cooked perfect. Our waiter was Blaze and he was very attentive, nice and respectful and great sense of humor. We enjoyed him waiting our table. We give him 5 stars as well. First time at pump house we sat in the patio in June! It was not hot considering it was 100 degrees that day. No bugs to bother you and the cats did not bother anyone or come close to your table. We will tell our friends about this place and definitely come again when we're in town.

My wife and I, while en route to Goliad and Coastal Texas, stopped in Victoria to have lunch with her sister, who recommended the Pump House, which is located in an old water pumping station. This was a good selection. The food, service, and ambiance were very good. We would certainly return to this restaurant the next time we are in the area.
A very serendipitous find for us in Victoria! An old pump house beautifully converted into a restaurant with great outdoor seating that overlooks the river. Service was attentive and friendly and the food was very well prepared and excellent. The fried green tomatoes were perfectly breaded with a crispy coating that stayed out when I bit into a nicely seasoned slide with the acidic bite being perfectly fresh yet decadent (the mayo and cheese on top is unnecessary imho). Salads were fresh and the asked for side proteins were perfectly cooked with the pecan crusted chicken definitely on the OMG good category! Desert of pecan pie was good but somehow a slight letdown with the lack of pecans but still good. Absolutely excellent service complemented everything. On our recommendation list!!
Food was excellent! I visited this restaurant years ago and couldn’t wait to come back. I was disappointed that all my favorites had been removed from the menu and the service was terrible. Our waitress kept disappearing and was really really slow. I expect a much higher level of service at this price point. I hope the bring back goddess. I highly recommend the beef bruschetta and pecan crusted chicken. The fried green tomato sandwich was also excellent.
My Jen-Jen took me to The Pumphouse for a birthday dinner. They are having Chicken Kiev on special for $20, all proceeds going to help the Ukrainian people. Wow! Plus it was a fantastic dish with mashed potatoes and green beans and a nice roll. Sadly, we didn't like the Fish Tacos and didn't eat the offering. Too fishy even for me. Not sure what went wrong. It happens. They were gracious enough to not charge us for the plate. Nice! Our wait staff was excellent and the place is very nice looking. Get over there and get this special now!!!
Pleasant outdoor seating with a nice view. Friendly staff (thanks Ethan!). The Pecan Chicken and Pasta Primavera were fantastic!
Love this place, the food is great!!I love sitting on the back patio, plenty of shade and I love the fact that I can bring my dog.
