There are 4 things a Mexican restaurant shoukd do well. Rice, beans, salsa and tortillas. We didn't have the tortillas but the other 3 were not impressive. The charro beans had so much fat in them, rice was bland and salsa, well pace mild would have been better. Service was poor. My Hispanic partner said TacoBell would have been better. When we let the staff know they only laughed. Will not go back.
This place was a great pick me up from our drive back down from Houston to Corpus.Service was friendly, everyone was so sweet and served us fast.The food was good as well, and the atmosphere very casual just a good ol' neighborhood restaurant. I recommendSorry, we didn't take pics, but it was good.

Waitress was sweet. No long wait times. Food came out quick and the food was delicious.... best refried beans I've had in a long time. The beef fajitas were full of flavor and very tender.
BEST Tex Mex breakfast we have had in years! I had the nopalitos egg mix breakfast. Plentiful, delicious, great price. Service was awesome and coffee was so good. Highly recommend. We just chose it traveling through town and we will be back!
Ordered the fajitas for one and they were amazing. Great taste and tender!! The beans are by far the best actual REFRIED beans I've had in a VERY long time. Definitely will be going back again!

It is amazing. I want to return to Victoria just to lunch here. They have the best steaks I ate in Texas. Amazing food and nice stuff and prices.
