Our family stopped here on our way through town on vacation. Our waitress, Maria, was friendly and knowledgeable. While placing my son's order, she made a great recommendation that saved us $ while getting what he wanted. Jose, the waitress's assistant, was attentive and kept our drinks filled without having to be asked. The food was good - the tacos and burritos are huge and the fries are awesome!! Only downside - the queso was ok rather than great.
We stopped at this restaurant before going back home to Houston today. I ordered the beef fajita quesadilla (delicious), charro beans (OMG delicious!!) and my husband ordered the beef fajita flautas. I didn't ask him how he liked his food but his plate was empty when we left lol. The wait staff is very friendly. Our waitress kept apologizing because it got very busy which is understandable since there was an event and graduation this past weekend. A lot of us out of towners filling up the place. I could tell she was a little overwhelmed but she still did an excellent job. I could see some customers were frustrated and had attitude because maybe they're not use to waiting since Vivtoria doesn't usually have so many people there. Next time they need to go to Taco Bell!! Or better yet eat at home!

Employee are friendly ill say that much. They need to learn the difference between shredded cheese, cheese sauce, and enchilada sauce. Three different things and they tried to tell me its all the same thing. Uh nooooo.
I wasn't satisfied with what I ordered.I don't like cilantro & it was mixed in the salsa & beans. I would have been happy if they had salsa without cilantro or the beans without cilantro. At least a different bowl for customers that don't care for the herb. Anyway my family & I won't be returning.
I am from Hawaii/France. I have sisters who live there. When they ask me where I want to eat, this is unequivocal the “go to” place. Outside dining is available. Bottomless chips. Ice cold rich drinks. The prices are so low, I have to look twice. We sat there for 3 hours and they kept our drinks fresh and never made us uncomfortable for staying so long. Yes, be liberal with the gratuity. They are worth it and more.
The food and drinks are always great here! The staff does an excellent job of keeping the restaurant going... I would definitely recommend La Hacienda to anyone.
It was good. Plates were awesome. Children running around the restaurant screaming is not appropriate. Keep your children seated!
