Made a day trip to Victoria from San Antonio. Cousin gave a recommendation to try out El Paso Tacos and Tequila. After being seated we were greeted by Andres who introduced himself as part owner. Our server was Eric. I had the “street tacos” pork carnitas, borracho beans, and flour tortillas. My selection was difficult as their menu is a wide selection of choices. Wanted something lite for a 2pm lunch. Ithoroughly enjoyed their decor of a old downtown rustic building. Food was excellent, borracho beans super.Next time will try their margaritas. Was born and raised in Victoria and make a yearly visit. In the past deciding were to eat was like a disappointment. Definitely El Paso T&T will be our place to go. Thank you Eric enjoyed talking to you and keep up the good work. Andres great location and restaurant. Downtown needed a fire ? and this is the place. Can only say work on the chips. Sort of plain tasting.

Wait staff and owner are ridiculously personable and the food was great with yummy healthy options! We’ve loved the Pescado a la Mexicana, the Veggie fajitas, shrimp nachos, shrimp tacos, tortillas soup and the churros so far!

Had lunch here on a Monday. I love Mexican food, so I was excited to try a new place. I ordered the Taco Salad. It was not what I expected. The ground beef was very soupy, and was placed on top of the other ingredients. Altogether,I’d give the salad a 3 out of 5. My lunch companion had fajitas, and was not pleased with them at all. The service was fine. Most telling, the restaurant was almost empty, despite being located right by the Courthouse and multiple law offices.

We got a table of 20 and we were seated quickly. Service was great, waiters were checking on us frequently. Food was not really worthy the price; I got quesadillas but tortilla wasn’t home made. I loved the atmosphere, and waiters were caring throughout the night. The only reason I’m giving it a 4/5 is because of the food quality didn’t match the price (IMO).

Dallas family of 4 stopped here on a road trip. Everything was outstanding. Great, big, open vibrant space. Fast and friendly and delicious. Fish tacos top notch. Hot bean dip pretty bland compared to Gloria’s. Other than that - excellent and a really cute little town. Gracias

Quaint little building in downtown, wait staff was very friendly and courteous. I ordered the chicken enchilada plate with rice and beans, and everything was proportional served and hot. The medium Sangria Margarita was phenomenal, highly recommend trying. Live musician was real good and set the mood. Will be trying it again.

We decided to try this restaurant for lunch. We asked if we could sit up stairs. The hostess said sure but it would be a wait before we got waited on cause the waitress had a lot of tables. So we opted to sit downstairs. We were seated right away and served chips. After 15 minutes we got nothing. Nobody took our drink order. Nobody took our food order. At least 4 waiters and waitresses waited on the tables ball around us. Nobody waited on us. We walked out and I’m still not sure anyone even noticed.

Despite reading the reviews - many that were not positive, we went to lunch here with my sister and her husband. We were seated quickly and the waiter was friendly and attentive. We were given the usual chips and salsa as well as some black beans - the chips were served warm and both were yummy. I ordered the piscado (fish) a la Mexicano with rice and vegetables. It was so delicious and served piping hot! The seasoning was just right! All four of us enjoyed our meals and the servings were more than enough. The only negative is that the music was way too loud. It made it hard to have a conversation especially if you are hard of hearing which my husband is.

Just ate their 02/21/2022. It was ok if you like frozen El Patio dinners. My wife ordered cheese enchiladas and the cheese was not hot in the enchiladas. The food seemed to be like it came off an assembly line. The molés we're very mild and not very flavorful. Service was great. Food was served very quickly. Too quickly for me. (Assembly line?) Prices were good.

margaritas were delicious, food was great & loved the cheese dip
