Terrible. Worst customer service. Petty.I ordered a grilled shrimp salad only to find bacon strips in it. I was not informed it would have bacon and when I called, they refused to refund and hung up on me. In the name of salad, they put only spinach as greens.

Excellent chicken fried steak with no misleading crust.Let me explain: While crust is critical to the chicken fried steak experience, we're seeing a lot of chicken fried steak that has twice as much crust as steak as a way for restaurants to continue to be profitable in this economy. (We understand. Personally, crust is my favorite food, along with garlic bread and pizza. But Jay is a steak afficionado.)Anyway, that is not the case at Double J. You get what you pay for: a CFS big enough to share, and the option to inexpensively add a second plate of sides for your partner.

I've gotten food here every time I come to Victoria. Awesome chicken fried steaks and I also enjoy their jalapeño poppers. Definitely recommend giving their food a try.
I have quite a few bones to pick with this questionable establishment… So first off i have a former family member that used to work in the kitchen and informed me on some of the disgusting and terrible things they say and do in the kitchen. Secondly, anytime me and my husband dine in the service is terrible and extremely aggravating. Finally , my husband called a order for dinner and once we get there the young lady that’s “ in training” had gave out our food to somebody else, we had to wait an extra 45 minutes to get our food. Very disappointing , we absolutely loved Double J’s and it’s so sad how this place has gone down hill.

The food was fresh made and delicious. The girl who took my order was very helpful and friendly. A little pricier than expected but worth the money.
We had the 12 shrimp for $12. Best I have ever had bar none
