Sushi and cocktails... what's not to love? I don't routinely throw out a 5-star, but aside from the great fresh food and unique drink selections... this visit we were lucky to have Gabby as our server. "KUDOS" to her! Gabby's easy-going personality, patience, and very helpful, positive manner helped make it a great experience for us. Because of her, we're happy to give that fifth star!

Greatly varied menu, with so many choices in rolls, sashimi and other items I didn't expect (my wife does not eat fish except canned tuna), it was hard to choose. Everything we had we were absolutely impressed with, including the fried rice that was the best I have ever had, but without all the soy sauce you'd usually expect.Cheesecake was absolutely WONDERFUL! The only thing I'd change is my margarita glass was so full of ice that I don't feel I got enough margarita, but it was exceptional too. :)If you get any flaming sushi rolls, make sure your legs are under the table when it arrives, especially if in shorts... (my shin leg hairs were set aflame, BUT the awesome meal made it worth it!) :DAs long as they do not post any 30.0[5,6,7] signs,WE WILL BE BACK, OFTEN AND SOON!!!

I had been wanting to experience Wasabi for about 3 years & was finally able to guilt-trip a night for Mother's Day. ? (Note, if it weren't for taking a back road from the motel I was staying at due to storm damage to my home, I would never known where Wasabi was located.)Being it was a Sunday night (8:30pm), the dim (probably going for intimate ambiance) lighting first had me question if they were open. Once inside, the staff were pleasant & attentive. We were seated right away. Our server [Brandon?] was prompt, polite, & willing to answer questions.I ordered the Baked Salmon Roll, for the appetizer, and Kung Pao scallops for the entrée. The Baked Salmon Rolls were better than I anticipated. An asparagus spear runs through it, but it's flavor is not dominant. The Kung Pao scallops were not what I expected. [Japanese hibachi has influenced my expectations.] I can-not- say they weren't good, they were just not what I was expecting. They taste as if they're coated in a breading. They don't 'look' coated, but they tasted coated, & I'm used to scallops only being seasoned & seared.I will definitely go back! ? I'm going to try a different entrée, but the appetizer will be a staple for me.

No complaints. Food was fresh & flavorful. Decor was nice. Restaurant was clean; the tables, the glassware, the utensils, condiments & restroom. Greeting & seating was immediate. Will def return with husband.

I would NOT recommend this place to my family or friends. I should’ve known when there was only 1 other car in the parking lot. The place is just dirty ? Our table was very sticky, restrooms were dirty and had no toilet paper. Our server recommended what not to get because of how the food looks in the kitchen and when ordering alcoholic beverages they stated they never made that kind so we ordered what they did know how to make. Our food came on dirty plates, there was a brown sticky liquid on the bottom of it that was getting all on the table. After leaving my husband and I both felt sick.

My wife and I first tried this place based on a recommendation from my son-in-law before we moved to the area over a year ago. It was a wonderful experience and the best sushi I had in a very long time. So a very welcome and pleasurable experience.Unfortunately, since relocating to the area in July we've tried on five separate occasions, both lunches and dinner, and the service has been inexcusably bad.Now in their defense they have had a HELP WANTED sign on the door since we first revisited in July but this doesn't excuse the existing staff, which we've had repeatedly, from the terrible service. I could wrap my head around a large turnover and constantly new, inexperienced staff. But this hasn't been our experience. We've had the same few waiters each time.As far as the menu, the food here has been excellent except for a single experience. My only bad experience with this was when the sushi chef had a bright idea of covering almost all of my nigiri and sashimi with ponzu sauce. It obliterated the taste of the sushi and I might as well have been getting sushi at a grocery store. If they can get their existing waitstaff staff trained and possibly not over extended in the number of tables each server has I am sure this would push them above and beyond reach of the other sushi restaurants in the area. Until then we'll keep going to one of the Hibachi places and order our nigiri and maki there.

The bar tender made me a very tasty martini. The food was great. I’m not that intoxicated. The 5 stars is earned.

Pretty decent food, but the greeter was grumpy. This is not the way to entice people back. The waiter was attentive and polite.

We are told we would have to wait 25 minutes because they were holding tables for large parties not for two people. While we were standing there party of five came in and were seated. So two people aren’t important!!!

First time here for lunch. Had the Dallas Mavericks and the Rose city ... Top notch. Better atmosphere than Go Fish.
