First time here..off the beaten path. Arrived around 5:10 on a Saturday. Parking was easy and up front. Seated immediately, Service was amazing, Thank you Phillipe!! Carne Asada had amazing char grilled flavor,very tender. Buttery! Seafood enchies had ample fish and shrimp. Not over cooked..just right. Whatever that sauce is they put on it, they need to jar it and sell it! Only thing I would suggest to them would be to add some pico de Gallo to the entries. Pico adds freshness! Overall I give a 5 to this restaurant!
First of all, I am a HUGE Villa Montez fan. It one of my top favorite restaurants in Tyler however we did not have a great experience last time we went. We made a reservation for outside, they put us inside but another waiter was kind enough to make it happen. Lots of waiting around for drinks and food. They did not have any cabernet sauvignon bottles of wine besides the house wine which is odd because they are known to be wine lovers. The chef was grumpy when we made a food request. Food was lacking compared to what it's been in the past. Overall, the experience was quite disappointing but our waiter was awesome and did everything he could to make it better! We will definitely be back as this is one of our favorite restaurants and hope they make some changes.Also, nothing to do with the restaurant but do not park on the other side of the highway in the parking lot. We watched multiple cars being towed extremely quickly.
Fantastic place. Beautiful building. The spinach and artichoke dip with chips was agreat appetizer. Add home made tortilla soup and you are in heaven. The dinners were exceptional. We had chickem enchiladas, fajita burrito and tequila lime chicken pasta. Outstanding. The atmosphere was great. The service was great. We had a great dining experience.

The family chose a fajita burrito, tequila lime chicken pasta and chicken enchiladas. The food was truly exceptional. The service was friendly and efficient. Tje atmosphere was inviting and warm. It is a beautiful building. Outstanding dining experience for the whole family.
Only giving a 2 because the Chino Latino Rolls were amazing. Service was terrible. They crammed 5 adults on a 4 person table. We ordered 2 of the Latino Rolls at once. Finally after asking about the second order, they came out 25 minutes apart. They had no queso, which is unbelievable for a Mexican/Latin restaurant. All 5 meals came out after waiting 45 MINUTES, COLD! They had no Dr Pepper or sweet Tea. I enjoyed Mother’s Day with my family, but we are VERY DISAPPOINTED and will not be back! Javi’s in Tyler is a 10 star and much more reasonably priced! God bless y’all!
The beautiful atmosphere sitting on the patio was topped by their delicious food. We are picky about Mexican food and this place is really great. My husband had the carne asada- it was so tender and flavorful. I had some sort of shrimp dish in a jalapeño cream sauce that was to die for. Kids loved their pasta and we all had a great time.
TripAdvisor has this restaurant ranked #3 for Tyler. When I arrived I got their last parking place. I had a chicken Burrito Maya with green and red sauce, a Grand Margarita, and crème brûlée. Sitting outside with a pleasant view, I only wished that my wife could have joined me for this business trip.

We had a party of 8 with reservations. We were warmly greeted and seated quickly shortly after arriving. Waitstaff was attentive and kept everything moving along. The chips were not too salty and my enchiladas were packed full with juicy chicken. Great tasting food at a reasonable price.
