This BBQ place is a hidden gem. I've driven by for years & never stopped. I finally did & I'm so glad. Very down home - family feel to the place. The tea is out of this world delicious. The BBQ is amazing. And there are just no words for how yummy my baked potato was!!! Honeyyyyyy!!!! I LOVE this place. Excellent! Wish I could give 10 stars!!!

Moved here from Washington State and they have nothin on this place. Ok they try but, nope!! Hands down they have the best BBQ. We got the brisket and ribs.
This is a rustic(!) place right on the highway. I was the only one eating there early on the Sunday I visited. As others have mentioned it’s cash only.There was only outside seating on offer when I visited.I sat outside at one of the porch barrels. The barrels are high and the chairs normal dining chairs, so it was a bit of an odd seating position.The owner took my order after explaining the plates. She also brought out the food in shorter order.I ordered the brisket, sausage and ribs. They were all very good. The sausage had a bit of spice. The ribs were tender without being over cooked. The brisket was very tender and flavorful.The sides were baked beans and a pasta salad. They didn’t live up to the meat but were serviceable.The owner was very friendly and we chatted for a moment when she came to check on me.The food is great. The setting worked fine for me but you need to know this is not a cafeteria, picnic table or steakhouse setting.
We bought a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving, and oh my gosh, it was AMAZING!!!!! very smokey and moist. Thank y'all very much!
You can call ahead or visit to order. Great smoked meats, lemonade, and we will be back!
Saw this place during a road trip today and gave it a try. The couple that run the place were very kind and just make you feel like you belong. It’s cash only and I had no cash so they gave me some samples which were a lot and made me go get cash. I returned a few minutes later and got the brisket with macaroni salad. The food is really good!I wanted to give 5 stars, but I asked nicely for extra lean and got fatty.
Family run business. Very friendly and great service from Kelly. The brisket was tender and lean. The bbq sauce was a little spicy and sweet. The potato salad was good. The moonshine iced tea was refreshing but the ingredients are secret so don’t ask. We would definitely recommend this little hidden gem.
The food was spectacular!! The people who own the place put their heart and soul into everything they make. Totally recommend them!!
