First I would like to start off with these people NEVER answer the phone. The food is not as good as once was. It taste like it’s been sitting out for a while! Cashier is rude and even when just handed order if not pleased. He will not accommodate for anything other than for you to get over it! I would not support a business like this ever again !!!! If I could do zero stars I would
I haven't had Chinese food in a couple years so for my birthday today I asked my husband to pick up Chinese. He went to Peking and OMG I am so frustrated and angry because 1st of all each box came with two huge scoops of rice that we don't even like then the sweet and sour chicken even with the watery sauce was so bland it was disgusting then the general taos had another two nasty scoops of rice and was so flavorless I was shocked, the sesame chicken was a little better but another two scoops of gross rice. I was really looking forward to the lo mein my favorite but they completely forgot that on our order so after plying 53.00 for this meal I threw away all the rice and couldn't stomach most of the rest, the only reason you got two stars was because the egg rolls were decent. Very very disappointed for my birthday meal and won't eat here again especially being cheated out of part of my meal
Always a treat when we come! The staff is always nice and friendly. I always ask for the chicken lo mein spicy with an order of fried dumplings. Literally some of the most amazing food. The dumplings are delicious specifically because they’re chicken and not pork. College students get a student discount! And senior citizens get free soup. Make sure to check out their monthly specials!
We are currently here for lunch. We ordered the "General Tso" and "Beef and Bell Pepper" meals, in addition to an order of Crab Rangoon. Total cost $31. The General Tso was unlike any I have ever seen. Looked almost black with very little taste. The rice was definitely from last week and the Lo Mein tasted as if they cooked it in bacon grease. The Beef with Bell Pepper had chicken in it and was also very bland. The crab Rangoon were decent with one exception. The sweet and sour sauce was poured into a cup straight from the refrigerator. When I asked the girl at the counter if she could toss it in the microwave to heat it up, she proceeds to tell me that it is supposed to be cold. I have never had it cold and it is frankly disgusting cold. She sends it to the cook who puts the sweet and sour sauce in a greasy wok to heat it up. He then put it back in the same container except now it was filled with about 20% grease mixed in.The girl at the counter constantly mumbles and you can't understand much of what comes out of her mouth. This restaurant obviously does not care about what it serves or how the customer likes their meal. To top it ff, the dining area is very unclean. Tables and floor are very sticky to the touch.Do yourself a favor, save your money and spend it at any of the other local restaurants where you will not be disappointed in the food or serviceanf you will be appreciated as a customer. We should have taken a hint by the fact that when we were there (at lunch) that there was not a single car in the parking lot. This place is absolutely terrible and should be closed down.
This place is going down hill, the staff are so bland, they don’t even smile, greet you, or even attempt to act friendly. The pricing is ridiculous for the amount of food you actually come home with, spent $16.45 on beef & broccoli, rice, & soup, ended up with 2 pieces of broccoli, 1 piece of beef, 2 cut up pieces of carrots, the to-go box was OVERLOADED with rice, so much so that what I really wanted (beef & broccoli) was literally 3 pieces out of the entire order. I definitely understand we’re going through inflation but really 2 pieces of broccoli & 1 pieces of meat? Do better.
Predictably mediocre food for what must now be almost 20 years. Please don't use words like 'gyoza' or 'wantons' with the staff, as they will have no idea what the hell sort of fare you are referring to. Also don't expect to pick up a complete or accurate order. Instead, appreciate that mediocre food can be had without driving to south tyler for what is probably in most cases equally mediocre Chinese food or whatever passes as such in these places. Also, I will and am continuing to eat here. After all, who among us is not mediocre? What a sweet relief that is under pressure.
Order at the counter was very efficient.Food was great and plentiful.Free soup for seniors during January!
General Tso's chicken was delicious. Sweet and sour chicken was good.Super fast drive thru.
Meh food, although it was hot & there was a lot of it. The Lo Mein kinda tasted… off… and it was kinda mushy rather than al dente. The sesame chicken was a little too sweet, and the fried rice just the tiniest tad crunchy and not super flavorful. Service was brusk, although quick. Probably won’t come back again since it was a little overpriced, but it was edible.
What happen to the serving size here got the green bean and shrimp and added broccoli literally have maybe 3 shrimp 3/4 broccoli florets and little green beans but plenty onions ?
