Fast service. My wife and I ordered our food and it was ready in no time. Our waitress, Katie, was very nice and made sure we were well taken care of without being in the way. Great atmosphere, quiet, food was outstanding. My wife cleared her plate of shrimp marsala, I had the basic spaghetti and meatballs which let me tell you were beyond phenom (I couldn't finish). Awesome place, awesome staff, awesome food. Definitely going on the regular go-to list
Visited Oliveto on a Monday night; they were not very busy. We ordered the Asiago Spinach Dip for our appetizer. The spinach dip did not disappoint at all; it was very good!For the main course, I ordered the Caliente Chicken. The Caliente Chicken had great flavor and spice. I was very pleased with that dish. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmesan, which she also liked. For dessert, we ordered the deep dish cookie. The cookie was a little bit over cooked, but was still a tasty treat.Aside from the overdone cookie, the only other, “less than 5 star experience” was the service.The restaurant was somewhat slow and so was our service. It took our server a very long time to get back to our table many times. He also was not the most observant. (Taking empty plates that had been put on the edge of the table, asking us if we were ready to order, etc.)I think some of this can be attributed to the fact that he was the only server I saw during our visit. Again, they were slow, there were only about 7 tables occupied. However, I think our server was servicing all of the tables.Overall, we were very pleased with our visit and plan to return in the future.
Food was very good but service not so good. Table of seven celebrating 13 birthday. When called about reservations was told they could do a cupcake with candle for the birthday celebration. When I ask about it, waitstaff said we don’t do that, you have to order from menu. Also tried to order decaf, told we don’t have that! Waitress was not very happy to be there!
We used to eat here frequently and over the past year service has declined drastically. Went in to eat about 3wks ago and the service was absolutely horrible, waiting >15min before the waiter even came to our table and when we needed drinks refilled we couldn’t find our waiter so my husband went to look for him and he was on his phone. We returned tonight at 830p for dinner with hopes of a better experience but stood at the door for at least 10min before even being acknowledged when multiple staff saw us standing there. A guy walked up and said they were not taking anymore tables but we could order to go and there were still multiple tables dining. Upon walking out I looked at the restaurant hours posted and there was a white piece of paper taped on top of their regular hours on the window that stated they were open until 10p. Seems like the restaurant needs some improvement in customer service if they can even keep customers.
I’m sadden to give this place such a low rating because the food is wonderful. This place has definitely gone downhill since our last visit. Our service was horrible. We had to wait more than 10 min to be able to get a table. Nobody ever acknowledged we were actually waiting to be seated. Several other couples behind us ended up leaving because nobody ever came to the hostess booth. When we finally got seated we got a booth beside a huge leak in the roof. It was constantly dripping and there was water all over the floor and furniture. Halfway during our meal we heard a really loud noise and the ceiling square come flying down. Pieces shattered all over the floor, furniture and our food. It was definitely not a pleasant experience. I’ll be back but definitely will not be dinning in again.
I would have rates it a 5 star, but the hostess wasn't partially friendly. Our waiter was excellent and food was very good. Other negative was loud kitchen staff. Our table was right by the kitchen.
Good works deserves good recommendation, I appreciate the effort of Mrs Cynthia Frank for helping me work from home despite being quarantined. We had great service & delicious food.
I went late in the evening and the food was amazing, it made me go back again a couple days later but this time it was at opening. The food was still good but I'd rather interact with the night people. Also the bread is rock hard but the other food made up for it.
Worst food experience I have had. The Italian sausage is a joke. No Italian flavor, meatball (yuck) is the word, again no Italian flavor, now the southwest flavored chicken in an Italian dish. I really tried to like it, but could not. Of course we will never return. I read good reviews and wanted a good meal. I guess the other reviewers had better food than I or do not know what Italian food should taste like. Go at your own risk.
