Not a fan of the seaweed taste of misu but chicken one was great . Would have preferred some Japanese background music but this is east Texas -- anime on tv was nice
Fantastic place to eat, really enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and quick service. The freshly made sushi is a must try for anyone visiting. The ramen is super hot and takes a while to cool off, you’re best chance at that is to eat it so the rest can cool. I can’t recommend this place enough!!
Hands down one of the best restaurants for ramen!! We absolutely adore this little place. It has such friendly staff and great ramen and sushi! ❤ Whenever we can, we make the drive to Tyler specifically for this place! ❤ Would definitely recommend stopping by to others ??
This place had good Ramen. I like the spicy ramen curry, the first time it was incredible. However the next time the flavors were good but not great. The second time i felt the broth not being hot enough. Its a little hard to be consistently good, when flavors are bold and intense.
Walked in and waited for an employee. Once she showed up to the front she didn't ask who was next. She was rude and said wait time is over 30 minutes and turned and went to help someone else. I hear her speaking to them in a very rude tone also.Son has eating here a few times and said normally the staff in very friendly and the food is delicious.Waited 10 minutes for the girl to returned to the front and she took some of her friends and sat them down before everyone else. We left. Will not return.
Terrific experience! Absolutely fantastic atmosphere and staff. Knowledgeable, attentive, and as kind as you could ever ask for! The apps, main course, saki were all on point. Dionysus (so?) was our server and he was the cherry on top of the experience. 10/10 will be back.
This is my 4th time trying a Ramen restaurant and I was blown away with how great everything was! Even the water was good hahaSuper friendly staff, there was a very chill vibe in the place. I ordered the Chaso pork bun, spring roll for appetizers. And for my main dish(s) I ordered Shrimp Tempura with added “Cream Cheese” and their “Black Garlic Ramen”.So much taste, perfectly cooked! Tyler , Texas has great Ramen!
Great place, honestly went here back in 2020 and had a great experience, went back again tonight and met some really good employees and had some amazing ramen. Honestly this is one of the best places to try if you're into ramen and never had a good ramen place to eat at. Management is also on top of everything and actually care about the customers
So first. Waited 45 minutes on a pick up order when I was told 15-20. If it won’t be ready for 45 minutes just say that. Also for a 8.99 avocado roll to get the slivers of avocado the kid gave me is absurd. Honestly will never go back shogun is better anyways
Really hate to leave 3 stars because we typically love this place. But the past 3 times, we have ordered our sushi 15-20 minutes before we order ramen and even after waiting for the ramen to be made — we still don’t get our sushi until after we’re done eating. We’ve cancelled our sushi the past 2 times.Not to mention, others who ordered after us would still receive theirs.I understand having one person on the sushi bar, but it just feels unacceptable for a food establishment. This was never an issue before (when there was one person) but now is a recurring theme. Makes me sad to have such a poor experience when this was one of our favorite restaurants. ):
