The food was delicious. There were four of us and we all LOVED our meals. I had the Bacon, Avocado, Turkey, Cheddar sandwich and it was amazing. The portions are generous. If you want a side, plan to share it with others at the table. The room can get a little noisy when they are crowded, but that's to be expected. There's live music on the weekends and the singer was really good!
Very kid friendly during Mother's Day and hardly a wait as it's first come first serve. We had 6 adults, 2 teens, and 3 kids with us. Definitely not a fancy place for fine dining but it had a great atmosphere thanks to the live music that Sunday. Wonderful New Orleans vibes. I really wanted the Shrimp Po Boy sandwich but it's only available Wednesdays and Thursdays which was a huge bummer since I live in Austin. So instead I tried the Shrimp Roll sandwich with chips. Think of it as a lobster roll sandwich but with shrimp. It was pretty good. The bread was absolutely perfectly tho. Buttery and extra crispy on the inside but pillowy soft on the outside. No cut gums from this sandwich. The chips were made in-house and were decent. Texture was just right but needed a bit more flavor. Next time I'll try the French Dip or the Shrimp Po Boy. Great place for lunch!
Friendly staff, food was great, live music on the weekends that was really nice & the decor is great! Loved it!And if you're undecided on what to order they have a wheel to help you out with this! ?
I used to love this restraunt, I'd get it every other day. I always get the cuban and an ice cream sandwich. Every since Lola's changed their hours the quailty has significantly gone down. The ham on the cuban was always black and tasted like bones it was awful. My biggest complaint is the inconstancy a constant gamble for a good sandwich, I think it might have to do with who was making the sandwich. Sometimes its soggy other times its dry and hard as a rock. A local favorite that I used to love has now become inediblie. I don't think I will be back until something changes. :(
Been going to Lola’s since they opened (in Flint!) they’re the best of the best when it comes to sandwiches. I think their kicked up chips are even better & could be a full meal if you wanted them to be. So yummy! Their portion sizes are large, so we always have leftovers as well, which is nice since the prices are (we think) slightly above average for a sandwich shop. But again, it isn’t your average sandwich shop either! ?
Came here for lunch. Got some sandwiches and they were fantastic. I really enjoyed my food. The atmosphere was also nice.
After hearing great reviews over the years, I really expected to be blown away. The Cuban sandwich was good but $10 is more than I would have paid for the size and quality. It didn't even come with chips.
Delicious sandwiches. Plentiful and adequately priced. The service was prompt and friendly. The lady at the counter knew the menu well and helped us choose what we would enjoy eating.
The absolute best sandwiches we've ever had! The chips were really good as well! We went with the Bron-Yr-Aur and Heaven can wait. Both were equally amazing, and we will definitely be back to try several more. The atmosphere is clean, quirky & fun. We loved reading all the signs on the wall, and the lunch boxes were cool to see.
enjoyed the atmosphere, music was good! homemade chips were excellent and my bf said the yardbird was the best sandwich he had ever had..
