I don't do buffets. I just don't like them in general. But, y'all...I make an exception for this one. It's crowded, it's congested (on Sunday afternoons when I have been) but the food is good southern, stick to your ribs like grandma used to make! The chicken fried steak is homestyle. My favorite! The catfish is outstanding! The pie??? Oh the choices... delicious and it's a buffet so eat all you want if that is your thing.
Good American Buffet. Nothing special on atmosphere. Can be crowded at times. Go early before the great pies run out!
Open 10:30am - 2:30pm. Not fancy, but if you love classic East Texas home cooking this place is for you. Loggin's is the real thing, a classic diner that is a slice of old Tyler! And it's a buffet! All the classic dishes prepared fantastically as verified by native east Texans who know what they're talking about. Country fried steak, the thin kind; fried okra, fried catfish and fried chicken are daily affairs with other entrees coming and going.If you're a transplant who hasn't bonded to classic East Texas fare, you can order a hamburger instead of having the buffet. Did I mention that they make their rolls, cornbread and assorted pies FROM SCRATCH! Delicious enough to be devoured by carb conscious women. Loggin's is an experience and worth checking out.
Very good just like eating at home. I believe its the best place for the money, and outstanding home good food.
Was like getting shot in the face paying $30 for two buffets. The food was horrible, everything was fried, and hardly nothing to choose from. Nothing at all good or okay about the place. Will never at all go back and I highly recommend you don't either.
Excellent buffet. Wide variety of choices and everything was delicious. Six stars each for the fried chicken and the lemon pie.

Great place for some good home cooking !The servers there are always on top of their job. I have to go to Tyler very often for Dr appointments, and sometimes we eat in and sometimes we get it to go. Either way we have never been disappointed in our food choices or the desserts.Not to mention the sweet tea is to die for!
