Pasta they know . My husband got a breaded fried red snapper, it is not on the menu that it's fried, they gave him spaghetti at no charge but charged for the dish he can't eat! No tea refills cold rolls and a snarky eye from waitress. We Always came here. Did! BTW we had to send the Stinky calamari back , it wasn't even chewable like eating a rubber band. Come on get it together there. Disappointment.

I love dining here, the food is fresh, hot and tastes fantastic every time. They have a fantastic house dressing, and if you want a more jazzed up dinner side salad, just ask. The rolls are the die for fresh, hot and homemade daily, along with the sauces. There are many different items to chose from, a nice quiet place to eat and a great staff who busted their tails during Covid and still provided excellent service. I appreciate the owner, Victor, and his manager, Irma, as they have kept this "best kept secret" in Tyler for over 25 years smooth sailing, and still our favorite dining spot.

Don’t waste your money. First time here and we were completely disappointed.Order was wrong. Ate a bite and asked the waitress about it being incorrect she offered to take it back and get it corrected. The other waitress returned to the table to inform very rudely me that the cook said I would be charged for an extra meal because I took a bite of the food. Chicken Murphy was like cardboard. Ranch for the salad taste like watered down bottled ranch. Nothing about this place was good. Terrible customer service.

Great food and our waitress was absolutely amazing!

First and foremost, the waitress Aubrey and the food is outstanding.I arrived and waited to be seated. A couple of the staff made eye contact then looked away. After 2 or 3 minutes (no thats not a long wait) a family of 3 arrived behind me and the 'hostess' was there INSTANTLY.She said ya'll follow me.. Thinking she thought I had been waiting for them I said,, 'Oh, we aren't together. She said yeah I know. ? ? ?I'm not big on respect but that was like a slap in the face.Never apologized. The table next to the area looked at me like WTH? I just shrugged.I had my food. The waitress was excellent. I waited to see if she was going to apologize but I can tell it never entered her mind. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Thanks for the food though.

Don't be fooled by the humble exterior. The name that, in East Texas, makes you roll your eyes and think to yourself, "Yeah, right." You enter, and it's cramped at first as you wait to be seated, but the dining area is much more spacious. There's a drop ceiling of those awful white office tiles overhead, but there's also a nice mural, arches, and plaster accents to look at. The menu is long, and that's usually a red flag, however our waitress assured us that everything on it was made-to-order fresh. My wife and I were kind of under a time crunch, so we ordered what our waitress recommended for diners in a rush: a spinach calzone, fried mushrooms, and a side order of meatballs. All of it--ALL OF IT--was 100% hot, fresh, and delicious! I was so impressed and cannot wait to go back again, if only for the free fresh bread they bring you once you're situated.

The Alfredo sauce is thin and for what I paid for it I feel like I should have been able to substitute a caesar salad for the house salad. The bread is fresh though and honestly the best part of the meal.

Tried this place because it looked quaint and authentic. The waitress did not know menu. She got confused over order. The Shrimp Scampi was bland. The Garlic Bread was bland. And the salad dressing was just a bad bottled version. Will not be returning.

Wonderful food… Great service!!
