This was our first time here. My immediate impression was this place is nice! Our service was great, we just weren't impressed with the food overall.
Just left there minutes ago. Enjoying what I thought would be a nice experience & as I’m cutting into my enchiladas.. Well would you look a’ there a small insect which looks to be a roach; specifically in my food. Thanks, Javi’s/Tyler
Love the atmosphere. The waiting staff was excellent. They also had a small pond where you could feed fish. ???
We were seated immediately, always awesome. The drink was amazing and the food was good as well. The dinner did not come out hot would be my only complaint. The server, was very apologetic for the wait on the food, we were fine waiting it was my birthday so just chatting with our appetizer was nice. Would definitely return.
We had 1 pm reservations but did not get a table until 1:15. The room where we were taken to still had the previous groups dirty dishes on the tables. The waitress had an ugly attitude. When asked for lemons to put in the water her reply was we do not cook with lemons you may have plain or limes. One of the party paid with cash and she was told change was in the safe upstairs and she would not get her change back. The door where we were would let you out, but not back into the room. We ordered the food like we wanted it and she would question everything we said. It is a pretty place and we were excited that we were getting to eat out for lunch. We will not return to Javi's the experience was not worth the price or behavior we had to pay..
We came here after camping with our two dogs for the weekend. We were quickly and easily seated on their spacious patio. We had enough room for our medium sized dogs without bothering other guests and were even able to enter through the back. The view of the koi pond and the area was gorgeous. Our server, I believe his name was Colin, was amazing! The drinks were small but good and priced fairly for the size. The food was good, my husband's fajitas had huge servings at a good price and my Redfish was good as well. We're not from the area but would definitely return if we were!
Service wasn't great but the food and drinks are worth it. The cocktails, queso, salsas, and tacos are delicious. I recommend the usual and the barrel aged margarita to drink. I would love to return for a tequila flight and more javis chicken tacos. Sit outside if you can. The view is pretty and relaxing.
Terrible experience! Long wait times and when led to our table more than half the restaurant was empty. It was dirty and the waitress seemed overwhelmed. She was working so hard. She walked from a distance to where we were sat from a long ways away. Seemed cruel to have it set up that way. She was great but had to many tables spread out so far from her work station we just resigned to the fact that we were on our own. Food was cold but we didn't want to complain.
I guess we'll go with the the foyer first. It's a comfortable little space with benches along the walls and photos of agave plants in different stages of growth and processing. Once we got to the table(on the beautiful patio)our waitress greeted us and took our drink order. After a several minute wait, we got our water at which point she took our order, I got the chicken tacos which seemed to be small portions for the price. We did have to keep asking for a refill on chips and salsa but the salsa did have very good flavor. Overall, the service seemed slow and the and the the portions were small. I wasn't a fan of the flavor combinations either.
The place is beautiful! Everyone loved what they got!! I got the chili Relleno was the best I have ever had! We will be back!!
