Children screamed and cried. Our order was lost, and waited quite awhile. Tomato Basil soup was almost too thick to eatâmore like a marinara. Mushroom soup Had no mushrooms. We have always liked Dakotas, but tonight was awful.
I booked a reservation for my parents on their anniversary. The restaurant was extremely helpful in accommodating my requests and went above and beyond to create a special experience for them. The food and service is always amazing!

Wonderful experience, terrific dinner
Very disappointed. Bake potato was cold and hard. The meat although great flavor was cool. Fish was cooled down. As if it was ready to be served but sat for 20 minutes before brought out to table. Waiter was great. The oysters were very good.
It was our anniversary and we wanted a date night without kids with an atmosphere that promoted togetherness, love, friendliness, gentleness and kindness. We knew of Dakotas but always failed to make a reservation. Living an hour away and juggling careers and kids always takes precedence. But not this time. Perfect date night, wonderful place and magnificent food choices. We both had seafood entrees. Her the sea bass and myself the stuffed flounder. Next time, we try the steak. We will be back.
