I was served raw tilapia. I like to cook tilapia at home, and the inside of this fish looked just like the raw filets I take out of the package to cook. The chef just took the one I tool apart, tossed it back on the stove, and told the waitress: "Some people eat it like that". No, they don't. It's tough and chewy, like sushi. Except this isn't a sushi restaurant.My friend got a burger, and I had a few bites. It was just "meh".I recommend you choose a different restaurant.
If you don't mind being in a racist environment then this is definitely the restaurant for you. Upon entering a few of the other customers made rude and disturbing comments towards me and my party. We were also assigned a non-white server.Food was slow to be delivered and I do not blame the server at all. Matter of fact my food was never delivered at all. Don't understand how you can deliver to four guests and exclude the fifth one. My meal was a simple burger and French fries combo. The easiest to make of the five that meals ordered.I've been to other locations and I definitely will be going back to those versus stepping foot back into this location.
Always sat promptly upon arrival. Comfortable tables, with plenty of space that accommodate our large family. Joe has always made each one of our experiences at Cotton Patch, smooth and easy. He is very attentive and personable especially with our younger kids.Brady the Manager is always present and interacting with the tables. Between the customer service from really the whole staff it is just A+. If you need a home cooked meal vibe in a comfortable setting. I highly suggest. Cotton Patch Cafe in Tyler.
Our waitress Allyson E. was perfect, you could see she was busy, but our order was 100% correct and we never felt pushed to be in a hurry. She gets a five out of five. Our food came out hot and fresh. and the manager was very professional. Love the food here.
Dined here during my visit to family. I ordered the fried cat fish and although it was tasty, it was over salted. I was very hungry after the four hour drive from Houston.

Great food and wonderful service. Allyson was our waitress and took great care of us. Joe was another server there. He has a personality plus and was interacting with all the staff and customers as he worked. He definitely has a great personality for the business. Thanks for making our visit pleasurable. We will return. It's worth drive!

Every time the food is good and the service is too notch. They have a young man working there named Hayden who is absolutely the best waiter I've had in this town. Respectful and quick as a whip. This kid gives five star service ask for him when you go.
What a great and stellar experience on date night. Hayden's winsome and effervescent personality was an immense pleasure while dining. The deliberate and consistent attention given to the concern for our satisfaction was most refreshing.
