My husband and I’s favorite date joint! It’s so relaxing, the food is fairly priced and very delicious, and the workers are friendly and don’t interrupt the atmosphere. It really reminds me of a textbook coffee shop that you go to relax and listen to some good music while you unwind. You don’t have to pay the 5$ game fee if you want to bring your own games but they do offer a large variety of games from hungry hungry hippo to D&D campaigns. I definitely recommend, favorite place in Tyler!
Most underrated coffee spot in town! Starbucks who? Lol, for realz though. Who doesn’t want to sit down and enjoy some games and wifi for a day while enjoying healthy menu options and great drinks. Game selections is amazing! Atmosphere… nailed it! Not sure what to do on a hot day. This is your answer, stop looking on google and get in the car.
This is a really neat space to hang out and do life in. The Barista knows how to make coffee correctly. I love the fact that the tea is not just tea you buy in bags, but legit tea leaves made correctly. Then the concept of renting a game and being able to relax with family friends is amazing
We had our first visit to Boards and Bites on a Sunday afternoon. Someone needs to expand this place! There were no tables available, so more than one customer left without service, which was unfortunate. This is a place to linger and play board games with friends, so table turnover is not fast. It's a great concept, and every customer seemed to be having an enjoyable time. That's the "Boards."The "Bites" are delicious! Fresh and inspired sandwiches with better cheese choices than the average sandwich shop. The hummus was perfect with plentiful garlic. A range of coffee and tea choices, too.Boards and Bites is a simple concept done delightfully well. Seriously, this place needs more tables!
Very quiet place to come relax, have a meal, and play games. They have a ton of games in house to play up for offer. It is $5 dollars a person to play said games but they offer a group discount as well. They also have many coffee and tea offerings as well.
Great place and always a stop when I go to Tyler. Sad, the DFW area only has one place like this in Downtown Fort Worth. Games are a great way to relax, engage minds and get people together off of their devices, over coffee. I must add that the Southwest Chicken Sandwhich is also very good and reasonable.
It’s a great place to have coffee and snacks and read/play board games. Usually, it’s not crowded and prices are very reasonable.
Coffee was good. I loved how the games were organized. It makes it really easy for someone like myself, without much knowledge of a lot of board games, to be able to try and find new games to play.
Never been to one of these before and I loved it! The food and coffee were very good and they had a very nice selection of board games. Definitely a fun spot to hang out with some friends and enjoy some games.
This coffee shop is great. There is plenty ofspace to visit with friends. They offer a Coffee City medium roast Ethiopian variety coffee. They also have several sandwiches available ata very reasonable rate. Another plus is that theyhave hundreds of board games. I rate local coffee shops and my experiences in Tyler TX.This is a great place. Stay tuned for more coffee shop ratings. I visit shops daily.
