My fiancé and I came in an hour before close, our bartender, Macy, was prompt in getting our drink order but that was it. We both work in restaurant management so we work long hours and don’t really get to eat out often, so as we got off early tonight we thought we’d pop in for a quick bite. She was just really focused on closing duties and anything else that didn’t have to do with us. We even made a point to order quickly and leave before close but her service was sub par the entire time. You would’ve thought we were bothering her. The food was amazing, the drinks were also great but it was still disappointing.
Went here for dinner because it’s always consistently good wherever you are, but that is no longer the case. It was awful. Got there and took almost 10 minutes to have the waitress acknowledge me while she was seeing tables around me that were seated after me. I ordered the prime rib dip and fries. Fries are always good here.. wrong. They were cold and felt like they’ve been sitting out since the morning. The sandwich was lukewarm. Service was poor. I will not be going back to this location.
Brandon always does such an incredible job on the Beer Dinners! Great quality, servers are always quick and friendly and huge portions of food! We always look forward to coming back!
Mahi Mahi tacos are excellent. The Ceasar salad had a delicious dressing with fresh croutons. The sparkling raspberry lemonade was awesome. Pineapple and ham mini pizza was great.
BJ’s and our server Shun were awesome. We had a large group of 14 in for lunch on Friday, and they took great care of us. Everything was quick, well prepared, and tasty to boot! 5 star service!
In walking in the front door, sidewalk was covered with trash, cups, straws, napkins, grass cuttings, etc that been there serval days it appeared since they were very dirty. Got inside had a call ahead table for six, seated soon at 5:30, didn’t see a waitress until 5:45. We were going to theater and told her we had that time issue. Didn’t seem to effect her pace or her recognition of that need. We final got out in time but more to our pushing than anything else. We have been coming for several years and I see a distinct decline in upkeep/cleanliness and service. Sad, the food is good, the process is not!! Sorry to see it.
I had the prime rib dip and it was not great. I have had this 2x in Mesquite BJ's and it was excellent. My husband had the fish tacos and said they were good. Service was good and fast. Next time I will get the deep dish pizza

Food quality doesn’t seem to be present. Ordered with delivery and my burger had brown lettuce and was poorly made. Had a side of Caesar salad with it and it was a joke of how much dressing they sent. Probably covered to leaves. Ordered delivery from here twice and both times it was the worst quality of food I’ve ever ordered.
Bj's is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Tyler, TX. The atmosphere is classy casual. Lots of apps, food and drink options. Occasionally they are short staffed but it's worth the wait for the food they offer.I had the ribs, with 2 sides and pizookie. The ribs were some of the best I have had in a long time... but i really go there for is the clam chowder.. I am absolutely in love with it and tell everyone I meet that they need to try it. Sometimes it comes a little too thick (just ask waitress to add alittle milk). I do not care for the pizookies, they are pretty dry and not something I would get again. All in all good experience!
