I've never had pulpo or octopus that wasn't chewy.Having said that, the pulpo cocktail sauce is really good.Its too spicy and so good that I keep eating it.I believe it is real Mexican food.A large is $16.
This restaurant is a disaster, the whole place is dirty and the food was not good at all. $6.00 for 2 cans of soda and then they say you get a discount for paying cash when in reality you look at your bill and are actually charged extra for paying with cash. And they apparently do not use seasonings while cooking.The fajitas were terrible. Music was too loud to hold a conversation with my family. I cannot wait to get back to Colorado where the Mexican food is always on point. Here is your tip... learn good customer service, take a cooking class and clean your restaurant.
The restaurant didn't seem to be that busy, only about 5 tables full inside, but the people in front of us waited at the host desk for about 7 minutes before someone greeted them and sat them. Then we were there for another 6 minutes waiting while several walked by and greeted us and said someone would be right with us. Finally we were sat and she took our drink orders. Once we were able to order, we received our meals after eating 2 baskets of chips. At least our server was checking on us regularly. We had the regular quesadilla, chimichanga, and poblano chicken. All were good and hot.
Food was delicious! Service was very slow. We had to wait way to long to get refills on drinks. This would be understandable if they were busy but it was only us and 2 other tables there.
Since I move Tyler I never found a better restaurant than this one food is amazing service great definitely this is favorite place now
In town for business and picked this restaurant as it was the closet Mexican to us. Surprisingly good. Michelada was excellent. Would definitely go back.

I was impressed with everything our family ordered at this restaurant. Friendly service, our drinks and fresh fried corn chips with yummy homemade green and red salsas arrived quickly! My son ordered for us, this is his favorite authentic Tex-Mex restaurant. Pork in a Red Spicy gravy served with hot tortillas, rice & beans, so good! Also ordered at our table were beef tacos on corn tortillas. The beef strips were marinated so tender and full of flavor. I live in Houston & enjoy finding great food. I can't wait to enjoy this restaurant again on my next trip to Tyler, Texas!
