Wish I could give Rib Tickler 10 stars...All time favorite BBQ joint ever. Literally don't go anywhere else unless it's cooked at home or from family! My fiance and I have been going there since we were kids/teenagers. Still have some of the same staff for as long as I can remember and they always greet us with a huge smile and a warm welcome. We now bring our kids there and they love it too? The loaded baked potato, brisket, taco salad, the cheeseburger and everything down to the sweet potato fries are so yummy. I promise whatever you choose you won't be disappointed. My family will never stop coming as long as the food tastes the same and the hospitality stays the same
Tried for the first time 7/7/22 and I ordered a brisket baked potato and it was super delicious. The service is fast and friendly. Will definitely eat here again.
Ahhh, this place is always great!! From the food, atmosphere and/or staff...A+I would suggest you try the fish/shrimp dinner or the chopped beef potato ?!
After passing this up during lunch time and seeing the amount of people lined up in the drive thru I gave it a shot…..Man o man this bbq is very good and Smokey I loved it! Sorry about messy picture I t was delicious
The rib Tickler used to be a wonderful place to eat but here lately it has went to the dogs. The first time I got a barbecue sandwich and took it home. The meat was like it was cut off the end of the brisket. It was all hard and dried out. I thought maybe that was just a coincidence so I tried it again. Again I stopped and got a sandwich and took it home. I thought no way would rib tickler serve me anything but a delicious sandwich. But again the meat was no good.
This is always ? perfect. The scenery around the restaurant is awesome.
It's great bbq the sliced beef and sausage are my faves, I normally catch the drive through. My ONLY gripe against this place would be, I'd rather go inside and place an order to go and wait inside. It seems to me I get fresher side items, fried okra, or fries, have been suspect at best, every time someone other than D'Anne is at the window. When she is working she is spot on with a correct fresh order. Great place in Tomball if you like barbecue JS.
I love this place. I decided to try it one day and the only regret I have is not trying it sooner. The portions are great. I usually order the chicken finger combo with 2 sides and let’s just say for 11.50 it can feed two people. It’s always hot and fresh and so delicious. My new favorite spot for some hot and heavy food when I am having a rough day.
The shrimp tacos and fried shrimp were good. Unfortunately, the hubby did not like the ribs or pulled pork.
Awful bbq. Don’t waste your time or money. Tomball has Bexar and Tejas bbq which are a million times better. How this place is 4+ stars is absolutely baffling to me. Brisket was salty as the ocean and bark was leathery tough. Ribs were dry and looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours.
