Awesome place, really good value and great tasting food, especially for those of us who eat carnivore/keto. The “who’s your daddy” is two pounds of burger, cheese and bacon, and they’ll happily do it without bread. Staff is very polite and professional as well.
Had the Ron's special burger and it was delicious, chili was very good also...will go back here again to try the different options. Staff was nice prices were reasonable. Excellent place for a burger.
On a recent trip to Houston I had a craving for a burger and decided to give Ron’s Hamburgers and Chili a try. I was glad I did. I ordered a cheeseburger with chili and was not expecting it “bathed” in chili, but still it was very tasty. Just a little bit messy to eat! Also, ordered Spanish fries, which I don’t think I’ve ever had before. It was basically french fries served with fried jalapeños and “unbreaded” rings of onion. The burger was quite good, the Spanish fries were excellent!??
If you want a good old fashioned handmade burger this is the place. The fries are hot and hand cut. Great service, clean and friendly
Rocking Burgers and Fries!Late Saturday we decided to go out after a long day. It was passed 8:30 and they close at 9 so we called in an order to-go having never eaten there before.Wow what a pleasant surprise! I got a Big Daddy and she got a Ron’s Special on lettuce(gluten-free) we also got a regular and Spanish fries.Being hungry and not wanting to let it get cold we sat in the parking lot to eat. We were both surprised when we opened the bag. The Big Daddy is Really Big! Hamburger patty was cooked perfectly and the bun was very fresh, probably made that day. Spanish fries were awesome! And the portions are very generous. You will not be hungry after eating here.We put this on our short list of places to eat in the Tomball area. Will definitely be back.
Ordered 2 jumbo burgers with bacon and large chilli fries and 1 water and 1 tea - Total bill - $28.00 The jumbo burgers were a joke. The supposedly 1/3 pound patty was less than a quarter of an inch thick and the bacon was ground up like it came out of a shaker. Burger King , Denny's or actually anybody's burger is better than this overpriced crap
The food was very good but the young man from Russia who was serving was fantastic. Super nice and on it even though they had just been slammed.
Amazing food, very friendly staff, acceptable prices.
About my umpteenth time to stop into Ron's Hamburgers and Chili. We frequent Tomball location a little more than Magnolia. Regardless to my son and I rolling in on 420, Ron's goes hard in the paint. They have been champion caliber, food every time, except once a little hiccup. We didn't get jalapeños on a burger. My son's to be exact, If it was me, I'd not make a big deal about it. That's the only thing harsh I can come up with.Food* Temperature ✔✔✔✔✔Flavors✔✔✔✔✔Freshness✔✔✔✔✔Order accuracy✔✔✔✔Waitress attentiveness✔ ✔✔✔✔Prices to serving sizes✔✔✔✔✔Menu Variety✔✔✔✔✔Over all totally worth it in every aspect,From the burgers, the Spanish fries, fried okra, beer battered onion rings, even the sweet & unsweetened teas are top shelf.Real quick, eating in resturant is the only way to get the full affect Rons Hamburgers & Chili custom cooked fine burgers and sides. In my opinion, JS!
We ate there this past Tuesday. We are not from the Houston area but had some business in town. When we looked up nearby restaurants, we decided to take a chance on this one based on reviews and I am so glad we did. It was delicious. I loved the frosty mugs for root beer, their Spanish fries were amazing and such a huge portion. My husband got the patty melt, which was good, but in my opinion, the crown jewel of our meal was my sausage hamburger. It was absolutely phenomenal. We are not in the area often at all, but if we do venture back, we know where we will eat. I wish they were in the Austin area, actually!
