I love this place. Best fresh yeast rolls with a hint of sweet butter. I almost always order my fav dinner. Chicken strips, mashed potato’s, fresh green beans. Always hot fresh and delicious. Waitresses are very good with prompt service. Sometimes it gets packed and service slows down. Overall great home made food that is delicious. Kids love the $4 menu and steak $5.50. Can’t beat it great price and good food.
Excellent food made to perfection fair price and amazing service from Hannah our server she had a great personality always smiled and fast service checked on us every few minutes to make sure we had an amazing experience will defiantly be going back
Go here. If you want great food for a good price with excellent service, all in an old fashioned southern resteraunt setting, go here. 5 minute wait for a table and there was a Wide variety available on the menu. We started with the shrimp stuffed jalapenos and we both thought they were spicy excellence. The prime rib was also excellent, we both polished ours off and didn't leave a bite. (I got the largest, she got the smallest). Table service had the perfect balance; we never needed to flag a waitress down and never felt like the waitresses were intruding. Like I said at the start, go here!
This place had good service but took awhile to bring the food out. The quesadillas were very greasy along with the okra. Aside from that the steak looked nice but had no flavor and same for the fried catfish super dry
I cannot get enough of this restaurant. Great food selection. Quick service. The staff are very friendly and the place was extremely clean (including restrooms). Chicken fried steak is excellent, tender, and flavorful. Steaks a big hit here! Food for every pallet. You will brag to your friends and family after this dining experience. 5 stars for a reason!
Was there for a rehearsal dinner for my cousins wedding. The steak was great! Only suggestion would be to use less butter on the veggies and maybe fresh French fries instead of frozen. Always nice to go to a steakhouse that makes their fries fresh in-house.
Music was way too loud, I felt like I was in a club, it was difficult to talk to the people I was with, also when you have hearing problems it's very hard to focus and to hear others talking. The waitress told the owner but he didn't care and didn't turn the music down. It was a miserable lunch. I had pot roast and it was tough, I had a large steak knife and had a hard time cutting it. They buy cheap beef, how hard is pot roast to cook? Sometimes the food is good but not consistent.i will not be going to Pecos Grill anymore, there are too many great restaurants in Tomball.
This place deserves 5 stars! My wife and I came here for dinner one night on a Tuesday. Our host was very attentive to us and was very prompt on refilling our drinks. The salad, steak, and sides we had were all prepared the way we asked. Very large portions!Parking can be a little difficult but overall not a problem. We would like to return in the future. Can’t think of anything I would change for here.
Excellent service, friendly staff, appetizer delicious, food delicious, well prepared and awesomely good.
The music was too loud and the waitress said the owner told them to not adjust the volume. It was difficult to carry on a conversation. The small chicken fried steak was not good and the cream gravy tasted like flour. I won't be back. Plenty of better places.
