I’ve been hitting up Fangs for at least 6 years now. There was a period of time about 2-3 years ago when I stopped going due to what seemed to be a degrade in quality. I’ve since been back a few times the last few months and it’s been awesome again. The Generals Chicken has been on point every time and I hear the sushi is good as well. ?? ?
Not ordering again! Terrible, bland, tasteless rolls.. spicy tuna had no flavour, sushi rice was dry and flavourless, and the amount of sauce they used on their rolls was awfully low.
Excellent food we had cashew chicken and vegetables shrimp dish very tasty. Also ordered a California roll was very good. Service was spectacular
Disappointed to see the quality has dropped. We’ve been ordering here for years. The sushi specifically has taken a hit. It has steadily declined over the past three orders. The sashimi in the picture was soaking in lemon and lime juice as if to hide the taste.
I'll start by saying, the food is VERY good and that is why I give them 2 stars. Another reason is that the food is plentiful and can definitely have leftovers!! BUT...their service is LACKING, especially when it comes to communication!! I ordered food for delivery, at 6:30pm. They did say it would be an hour before delivery would make it to me. I accepted that. At 7:45pm, an hour and 15 min after ordering, I called to see how much longer. The phone rang and rang and then went to voicemail, which the vm box was full!! I continued calling for a full 15 min before I actually spoke with someone!! I was told that their delivery driver did not come in that night due to car issues. I guess they couldn't tell me that when I called to place the order??? At this point, it is now 8:05 and I am told that it would be another 30-45 minutes before they could get someone to deliver, but I could come get it myself!! Now mind you, my cc had already been charged....INCLUDING the tip I added for the DELIVERY!! To forego the hassle of trying to get a refund and then having to find something else to eat for dinner, I went ahead and picked it up myself. She did tell me, on the phone that she would add an order of eggrolls (which I had already ordered) and some fried rice (again, which I had already ordered) to my order for my troubles. When I got there to pick up my food, it wasn't even ready!! Within 5 minutes it was though and then I asked about the eggrolls and rice she had offered. I was told that it would take ANOTHER 10 min before they would be ready!! We have been customers of Fangs for SEVERAL years and although there have been small issues before, we continued to patronize them. But after this fiasco, we will no longer be customers!! All it would have taken would have been a phone call to me to let me know that delivery service would take a LONG time and ask if I wanted to just pick it up. Would have been considerate to give me the option to decide to do so, or cancel my order....at a decent hour!!
They cooked for my last moment Christmas dinner for 16. Arrived on time could have feed 30 with the amount. Food was excellent and delicious! Everyone was impressed. Thanks for the top notch service!
You should taste these two Rolls... It's so good.
Got wonton soup for takeout. When I got done eating it, I noticed a gritty substance in the bottom of my bowl. It looks to be either dirt or metal. I scraped my spoon across it and it was all grit. I took a magnet too it to see if it was steel or iron, it was not magnetic, so it could possibly be aluminum. I've been a cook for years and this substance doesn't seem to be a spice. Definitely never going to Fang's again
Old grease. Mediocre food. Usually it is better. Disappointing
The food was very good. Portions and prices excellent. Service was ok, but very friendly. We have lived out here for 20+ years, eaten there before, and are glad to rediscover them. We will be more frequent in our eating there.
