We had a horrible experience: bad service, unprofessional employees that were more interested in sitting in booths eating each other’s food, laying down in the booth putting their feet up on the booth, and hanging out as opposed to checking on tables. We sat right next to their “hang out booth” in the bar area. We saw our waitress back more than anything else. She didn’t check on if we needed anything when her back was to us and she was more interested in hanging out with coworkers taking up a booth during which there was a wait for tables by the people waiting when we left. Food was decent but we won’t be back.
Tons of menu choices and good beer selection.
Captain Brad's coastal Kitchen located on FM 249 just outside of Tomball Texas. My wife and I went to eat a early Sunday dinner we dined inside the outside looked nice but it was still over 100°Our server was Madison and she took great care of us our food came out quickly and we enjoyed it.This is definitely a seafood restaurant we will visit again thank you Madison for the great service.
The Shrimp and Crawfish Etoufee was delicious, nicely seasoned. The 1st 2 boudain balls were good, last 2 I think was over cooked. Overall the food was delicious. Will definitely go back. Great customer service!
Great food great service we love going there
I’ve been wanting to try this place out for months, and it did not disappoint! The food, environment and staff exceeded my expectations (which were already high!). Our waiter, Leo, was very knowledgeable and deserves some recognition, but THE FOOD!!! Wow so good. We got the gumbo, clam chowder, hush puppies and stuffed redfish. They have weekly specials, that are not regularly on the menu, and I just think that’s pretty cool. Will definitely be going again!
Diner BEWARE!This place will up-charge you like crazy and with NO WARNING !I ordered just plain grilled snapper and asked if I could substitute my sides and he said yes. My fish was so DRY I could barely get it down and it was fishy. I substituted green beans and brussel sprouts. The green beans were edible but the brussel sprouts were just thrown in some grease for about 30 seconds and they were so hard I couldn't eat them. When we got the bill they charged me $4 for the brussel sprouts (about 3 large and cut in half)Charged a dollar for grilling instead of frying , and $2 for green beans . Umm hello! This was supposed to be substitute?! So I paid $19 for a small piece of super dry fish and then charged for everything else separately. This is INSANE!!! My food was horrible! My husband's food wasn't good either at $32!!! Our friends got shrimp and oysters so their food was ok.After talking with the manager she said she would change it. When she came back, only ONE dollar had been taken off the bill for the "grill not fry" so then I told her that the brussel sprouts were not even edible and I definitely would not have gotten them for $4 !!!! So then she took off the brussel sprouts but said " the green beans are actually an upcharge".Wait ...WHAT !! ?? An "actual upcharge " ???So the others weren't?I would have sent the whole meal back but we were with friends and I didn't want to make a big deal about it, but it was a complete waste of money!I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE!!
I have to admit, I once made an inaccurate review of this place which I came to regret and changed my post. We eat here pretty regularly and always enjoy it. After my review, the owner reached out and made every attempt to to make me happy which ultimately, she did.My Dad's Birthday was coming up and I wanted to do something special. What better to do for him then chow down on some amazing seafood!!! The owner helped me set a reservation, took a pre-order, allowed me to bring balloons and cake. Reservation was for 7 and had secret plans to have my Dad there by 7:30. The staff made sure all the food was on the table and ready by 7:20.They even wrote a big Happy Birthday on their out door sign. As my Dad came in, I started singing Happy Birthday where the entire (packed) resteraunt joined in on the celebration. A business that goes a little above and beyond is always worth supporting and I owe them a huge thank you.Now to the food. We order the CPT Brads Boil which you can see in the pictures. Flavor is on point. Old'bay and the house seasoning has become our favorites. The dusting is perfect and the crablegs/shrimp is always cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is great and the staff are friendly and attentive. If you ever run by a CPT Brad's, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. Thank you again to the owner and her team for helping me celebrate a special day.
Very good food! Best service I've had at a restaurant in a VERY LONG TIME! She had a SMILE the entire time and THAT ALONE always makes a dining experience SO MUCH BETTER! We will DEFINITELY be coming back as this was our 1st time.
If you're expecting any level of service AVOID THIS PLACE. 10 minutes after being sat to see our server. I had to go back to the hostess stand to even find out who it was ? Ordered drinks and appetizers - brussels and cup of gumbo. Brussels came out with no plates... before the drinks ? Had to flag waitress down to place entree orders. Adult entree came out before gumbo. The mahi is supposed to have a "white wine sauce". Served dry aside from garlic butter. Still no kids order. Had to ask for someone to check on the pizza. Over 10 minutes to get 2nd round from bar. Still no gumbo. Kids pizza is a frozen $3 pizza - served burnt on the bottom and room temperature. Still no gumbo. When gumbo finally arrived it was also room temperature. Waitress took it away the same way it was served without a single inquiry on why it wasn't touched. After requesting to finally speak to floor manager we waited another 10 minutes only to have our bill handed to us. Had to ask a second time for a manager. Still no manager so went walking looking for one. Waited another 5 more minutes. Items were comped. I didn't come for free food. Walked in the door expecting to pay for service and hot food. Received NEITHER. This is a f'ing joke. Will NEVER RETURN. after all that we were offered a free appetizer to return. I'm good. Thanks. All of this on a Tuesday night with open tables and no wait.
