Real Cajun made with passion!! What a great place, it’s clear they’ve thought out everything they make and aren’t compromising. I had the chicken & sausage gumbo, and it was stellar. Reminds me a lot of the gumbo I’ve had at much more expensive Cajun restaurants.The portions for the fried catfish are huge, and they fried it really well. It was tender but didn’t fall apart. The breading was great!The fries were just regular French fries, nothing special. I’d get some really special hush puppies, or better yet one if their boudin balls.Go get some!!
The food is outstanding!! My husband and I stopped in last weekend. I had an event last night, and originally I only planned to order sides and dessert. After tasting your food, I decided to order everything from here, and I couldn’t be happier. The crowd raved about the food, especially your gumbo and red beans & rice. It was all fantastic!! Thank you so much! I highly recommend to anyone that needs to place a large order, they can handle it and well! Authentic and great flavor!
Best bread pudding I ever had! Their prices are very affordable, great staff, awesome restaurant all around. My kids love it!
the place has a good vibe, price is accessible, you order up front, portions are good!, but i think they use to much salt, at least on my gumbo, I order spicy, for me it was not spicy. i can say if less salt the gumbo will be 5 starts :), husband got an etouffee, bland favor, the egg salad was good though. we will give it a second try at some point. Service was good and friendly :)
Good food, attentive service, on their way to 5 stars. I had fried shrimp and my wife had seafood gumbo. I ordered dirty rice as a side but they brought fries instead. The roux of my wife’s seafood gumbo was delicious, and there are a couple of crab claws and plenty of shrimp, yet somehow it seemed “thin”. The owner came out and noticed she didn’t have a lot of rice, so he brought some more.He and the waitress were very attentive. I think they’re not quite up to speed yet, but will eventually be a great restaurant. We will definitely return.

The potato salad! So good. Really generous portions of crawfish etoufee and fried crawfish on the Half and Half meal. We will be back.
Cajunville is outstanding! Best Cajun food I’ve had in Texas. It’s a must if you love food from Louisiana. Don’t forget the bread pudding with rum sauce, excellent!
Delicious cajun food. Very friendly waitstaff and great service. They passed out complimentary hush puppies for the customers to enjoy. They are adding them to their menu. Highly recommend!
